cokedrvrbjw
On route 2 in ma. between gardner and templeton...I looked in my mirror and saw a black mustang...latest body style (not the brand new style)...so i decided to give her some hassle. I hammered it...and had the stang for a bit...the the futher mucker waves and bye bye. He just took off like i was standing still. At that point the gov. kicked in. He had to be close to 130. I thought it said SVT...but do they make mustangs that are like that...i thought thats what the lightnings were called now. It was a black convertable with a nice throaty exhaust. Kinda makes me want the new stang. They just got the nbs at the local Ford dealer...but there was no price on the window sticker. I love the looks of them. Almost reminds me of 1970 style. deezel
Those SVT stangs can be pretty nasty. Can you say forced induction? There's a guy around here with one that runs low 11's. I think he's done some extra work on it (of course), but nonetheless a very fast car.
TurbochargedBerserker
A real SVT mustang = Cobra (although many people smack badges on GTs). A buddy of mine at work has one... He runs 14psi all day long. It's one fast ride.
SSminneapolis
i smoked some ass in a GT yesterday...he was driving like and idiot...got behind him at a light and he started reving...took off at the light so i followed suit...he spun a little bit cause the roads were pretty wet...so i cut over into the left lane and passed him, he never had a chance of catching up... had a bit of trouble on the shifts though...on the 1-2 and 2-3 shift...the truck skirted sideways a bit...seems i get a bit of wheel spin on the shifts...wouldn't have happened without the wet roads, but it was pretty cool either way.. AUTOGUY
A girlfriend of mine recently bought a 2003 Cobra Convertible. It's 390 HP stock and this one has a K&N Filter and Flowmaster System. I got to drive it when she bought it and it's pretty quick. I wouldn't even risk being embarassed by one of them. ChevySSandChevy8.1
Those cobras are fast, even new Gts are pretty fast sitting at like 5.8 0-60 i think. but I would have also raced him, beause there are some v6 mustangs even runing around with GT or cobra badging
