STS or SC

Recommended Posts

Just look a couple of pages back in this forum. I believe this question has been asked and answered many times. All comes down to you, what you want to use your truck for, and what system better fits your driving style.

Radix seems to be the proven performer on the site... I still see to many unresolved issues coming up with the STS to put much faith in it yet.... that is unless you like the idea and can dedicate the time and $$$ to make it work right

I went with the radix for many reasons and as I said before.. The truck should come with one from GM like the GTP's do.

Now.. Not to knock the STS Turbo but the sales people don't let up. I'm a busy person and have little time for chit chat during the weekdays or weekends for that matter. When I'm not working I'm spending as much time (seems to be too little) with my family as I can. The people at STS called me at my home phone, cell phone, email for almost 2 months now. I've told them I went with the magnacharger and they keep calling still. Its been a week now with no phone calls from them atleast. Seems they always have what they claim to be "a turbo laying around waiting to be shipped" Then they go in to how they can't keep em in stock and how odd and rare it is they have one on hand for ME! I can't stand sales pitches. I never bought anything due to a salesperson pitch. :puke:

If you decide to contact STS just remember what I'm telling you here.

Good luck

Well, you are an exception then. STS has been the best company I have ever purchased from. Very helpful in making decisions, delivered the parts when they said (hard to come by nowadays), called to double check I got it all, and one of their people came to our KS meet to help a couple of the guys running the systems. Including numerous hours underneath a truck that had little to do with the STS system. I have never seen a company do what they did in KS. If they called you, then you must have left all of that contact info (email, home phone, cell phone) for them to contact you on. Obviously they just haven't realized you've already made a purchase.

I second the STS recommendation. I called them a while ago and they bent over backwards to see to it that I had all the information I needed to make a good decision. I ended up staying with the Radix for now (I already had it on) but came away very impressed with how STS does business.

If I was in the market for a power adder I would definitely consider them. What you perceive as pestering, lordkevork, I experienced as genuine interest and concern for making a customer (me) happy. I would not hesitate to work with them if given the opportunity. A lot of other companies could certainly learn something from them as to how to treat customers, and potential customers.

They just don't get that No Means no!

They had my contact info because I was considering a system. as I said that was almost 2 months ago and each time they call I tell them I'm no longer interested I purchased a radix. I didn't like the sales tactics at all. Some may need that but it turns me off to a deal all together.

Thats weird... I originally had inquired w/ them back when they just started showing up on the site... to this day I never have received a call or e-mail from them to answer my questions

I'm really not interested anymore, but I thought it was odd I never was contacted by them at all. :dunno:

I contacted them when i first got my truck and they werent ready to retail yet. I tried back a few months ago and that is when the calls went nuts and emails too. It just got very cheesey like the crazy eddie of turbos or something.

That's very strange. Are you sure you were contacting STS directly and not a power dealer?

I know the STS guys very well, and can't imagine Dave, Ben, or Rick doing anything like what you've described. Back at the time you're describing, I don't believe there was a sales staff outside of Dave...
