BlueAWDSS
I'm tuning my truck and got everything dialed in spark and fuel wise, but what are you guys setting shift points at. I have mine going into second at 5800 and then the rest at 5600. Would it be safe to assume that I can turn the rest to 5800? I've got the line pressure turned up and the shift quickness turned up as well. What do you guys do?
Hugie
For a stock SS 5800 is good and safe. I installed an air cleaner and a superchips race tune. That moved everything up to 6000 rpm. I would advise bumping up the line pressure if you're using the tuner. It seems to help the transmission last longer with less clutch slippage.
