Dirt bikes

This is a way off topic question, but was just curious to know if anyone here knows of a site that has good information about dirt bike riding, and places in your state/city that is open to off road riding. :ughdance:

I beleive if you dig around on the US Forest Service site theres a link where you can check OHV areas. I'll try to see if I can find it for you... I used to go riding all the time so I was always looking for good places. What kind of bike you got?

If you happen to be from New England, I can point you to a lot of places here in MA. (it doesn't look like there is a lot of legal riding here, but there IS).

If you look around your area for clubs, they'll also point you in the right direction. (It's a real good idea to join too - at least out here where it's a fierce battle to protect our right to ride).

Some of the popular magazines like Dirt Rider might have a 'places to ride' section on their site.

I haven't gotten a bike yet because I want to make sure there are places I can take it first, plus I need to make room somewhere to keep it, I hope to get one here very very soon. I've been trying searches on yahoo and google for anything in Pennsylvania for off road riding and have yet to find anything. I am looking for some nice trails to start out with and see how things go.

What is the website for the US forest? I live in the Pittsburgh area.

Thanks for all the information. :seeya:
