slj
This is kind of a "wanted" request, but I'm attempting to target those that are happy with their lowered SS. I'm looking for a front and rear set of stock shocks for the SS that are lightly used.(less than 10Kmi) Please let me know if your willing to part with them at a very reasonable price. thanks This will be a temp solution until edelbrock finally releases. AUTOGUY
I don't think many people that lowered changed shocks. I know I didn't......

styleandspeed
I am very happy I lowered mine, and I did not change the shocks. If you are looking for a similar shock to the IAS look at some monroe Reflex action shocks. Great shock, with extremely similar valving, and a lifetime warranty. Also much cheaper. TimB
I have the Ground Force kit also. My stock shocks looked like crap after I removed them with less than 10K on them.

Also you get to keep the same shocks giving you the same amount of travel. When you get say a ground force drop(i had 2/3 on my tahoe) you get drop shocks which have less travel then the stocks producing a firmer ride. I just couldnt stand the ride with 305/35/23 tires so i had to get rid of it hoping to find an SS to replace it soon.

Maybe you want to ask one of the techs what the proper way to do this is....the TB/Shackles is a cheap way and but long term you will destroy your driveline along with the decrease in ride quality....but to each his own. I don't understand why some of you guys spend thousands of dollars on bigger wheels and tires and then go the cheap way out with the suspension....Especially on a new truck this expensive
TimB
The Ground Force Kit on mytruck was designed for the SS. If it wanst designed for I don't want it.
