Who is happy with being lowered?

This is kind of a "wanted" request, but I'm attempting to target those that are happy with their lowered SS. I'm looking for a front and rear set of stock shocks for the SS that are lightly used.(less than 10Kmi) Please let me know if your willing to part with them at a very reasonable price. thanks

This will be a temp solution until edelbrock finally releases.

I have the Ground Force kit also. My stock shocks looked like crap after I removed them with less than 10K on them.

why spend the $ on a lowering kit when you can install rear shakles and

lower the torsion bars and align ? all for under $100.

Because you can have a drop and have the ride feel stock, the mcgaughty kit you get new drop spindle so you dont have to crank the t-bars. Also you get to keep the same shocks giving you the same amount of travel. When you get say a ground force drop(i had 2/3 on my tahoe) you get drop shocks which have less travel then the stocks producing a firmer ride. I just couldnt stand the ride with 305/35/23 tires so i had to get rid of it hoping to find an SS to replace it soon.

Don't you work at a Chevy dealership? Maybe you want to ask one of the techs what the proper way to do this is....the TB/Shackles is a cheap way and but long term you will destroy your driveline along with the decrease in ride quality....but to each his own.

I don't understand why some of you guys spend thousands of dollars on bigger wheels and tires and then go the cheap way out with the suspension....Especially on a new truck this expensive :dunno::confused:
