peerson
How much does it cost to buy a vehicle and have it shipped overseas? It's got to be EXPENSIVE! Do you have to have any specific equipment installed to make it legal in your country? I'll bet you won't see too many S/S's over there. Enjoy! I don't have a clue what the actual shipment will be costing. I guess something like €2.500 incl. assurance... Compared to other, available cars and SUV's or trucks in Europe; this car is quite cheap to me. I was also looking for a new BMW X5, but when I was ready with the option list; I noticed that I was spending so much money, and still would have a regular car; which every ones driving these days over here. Therefore I deceided to go for the SS, although it would be a rough year to get it overhere, I started looking for information about a year ago, but I guess and hope it will be worth is. I've bought a car without actually seeing or testdriving it. Just based on your information overhere, and pics found on the internet. Yes; you can already call me a fan... hehheheh My girlfriend and I are actually in love with the SS, and had something like, must have... Moreover; we'll be the only one in Belgium with a SS, and nearby there's Chiel (also available on the board here) in Holland; with also a black one. I also deceided; after making some calculations; that there will be money left to start working on the car in 2005. I still have no idea how I'm going to do that; as there is just little knowledge overhere compared to the States... But a SuperCharger is already one idea. Also a complete rebuild of the interior; because we're not really fond of the leather seats. Next week they will already be installing the Gaylord X2000 Speedsturr Lid; a similar like Line-X bedspray; the Billet grills and some headlight covers. Then the windows and rear lights will be deeptinted, to create the complete Black look... Pictures will follow offcourse. that's about it for now. Sold my other car last week; so driving my youngtimer Ford Escort Convertible for the moment. Restaured that car completely myself and loving it, but soooo looking forward to start that SS engine soon... Yes, we'er importing the American idea overhere in Belgium; and everybody's so excited; cause nobody has a clue what we bought.. hehehhe... Next project what we'll be looking for is future car for my girlfriend. She's completely in love with the Saleen S281 Mustang... But that will be for next couple of years. First buying a house.... well guys; enjoy the weekend.. Pascal

PVerspeek
Just received mail from my dealer. It has arrived without any major problems. PVerspeek
The story continues... Bedliner is sprayed in, Gaylord Speedsturr Lid is installed. Still waiting for the Grill... Homologation will take place first week of December. So I'll still have to wait 2-3 weeks before I can take her for a drive... ;) Found a perfect company in the mean while to have the windows deeptinted by coating. The director himself will have a look at the pickup and suggest me an offer... That's about it for now. I've got some pics available, but won't share them with you guys untill I'm having the truck myself... Have a nice weekend Pascal
