I've played vice city regularly since I got it over a year and a half ago. You're right it doesn't seem to get old. I promised my wife I wouldn't get San Andreas so she can get it for me for Christmas. If anyone who plays this game hasn't got the strategy guide from Brady Games yet, invest the $15 bucks it saves a lot of wasted time finding all the elements of the game and much more entertaining than randomly trying to figure things out. I'm currently 98% done and have over 240 million dollars and have completed everything in the guide. I guess there's still something I'm missing. Until I find the last 2% I'll be satisfied to just continue killing and destroying everything I can. :)

Have you guys tried Gran Turismo 3? Soon to be GT4 in a couple of weeks?

GT3 you're given a beginning amount of money, you buy what car you can afford, hopefully win races, modify your car with the money you make, win other races, buy more guys.

It has a licensing process that you have to go through also. There is about 40 things that you have to do in order to compete on all the tracks in every series.

It starts with a beginning league, then amatuer, then professional. Eventually in the Professional series championship, you'll be racing with a F-1 car against other F-1 cars. Pretty tough championship to win.

During the races you have to hit the pits to change your tires and also have to take care of them to some point to last longer.

There is a rally portion to the game also. The rally racing is awesome.

Overall a super game. This game looks like an adult game. It's very technical in skill required as you advance and challenges you. I have never played the others mentioned, but have seen the graphics. Comparing them, I would say GT3's graphics are one of the most realistic out there, especially of any race type game. GT4 will surpass that even.

Here is a link to some of the graphics:

GT4

Here is a link to some video clips:

GT4 vids

Play the one that says CG trailer. I thought it was one of the best ones.

Ben, these games are in two completly different leages.

GT3 and GT4 are race car simulators.

GTA is a role playing "do what ever the h*ll you please" game. You can do all the things you've thought of doing (and more) without being busted. ;)

Road Rage - check

Hookers - uh, check

pelony - check

you get the idea...... ;)

They are both PS2 race style games, although the formats may be different, there are some similarities. I mention GT3 because it's the only game I own and the only reason I bought a PS2. It alone can eat up hundreds of hours. GT is strictly racing though.
