Rays B4U
Does anyone have any experience with Street Beat Customs roll pans? I emailed them and they say their PRC201510-1Y roll pan will fit a '03 SS. It might be an alternative to BSER's roll pan if he should decide not to make them anymore. Here's a link to the roll pan: Street Beat Customs

BenKey
Honestly not sure if "fit" was ever the issue. All would probably fit with some minor trimming. The problem is they will not conform to the side body molding on the SS. There were pics of a SS a while back on ebay that had a standard roll pan on it. To me it looked like butt. I wouldn't do it unless it came from BSER. If he didn't want to do them anymore, then personally, my truck would be without one.
Rays B4U
Sounds like more research is definitely needed before anyone buys one. I would hope that it would "fit properly", but then again there are a lot of business's out there that don't really know the product that they are selling. SSplaytoy
The molding on the SS doesn't contour right with that rollpan. It might even be cheaper to get a custom piece that stats from the end of the rear wheel well from side to side. Just shop around.
SPEEDCRAVIN
Im sure they are a real good company and all... But if you saw Bsers pan you would be begging him to make some more because his fits correctly and his work on these pans are second to none. I have seen his and a couple others. Rays B4U
I recontacted Street Beat Customs and asked about the fit with the SS cladding and they responded with "It will not match the SS cladding. Looks kind of funny beacuse of the gap." They must have just "assumed" that the pan for a regular Silverado would fit .
BSER
Hey guys I'm still willing to make more roll pans but I have a few issues. In my intial run of pans I had a hard time getting guys to follow thru with their purchase once the roll pans were built. I spent many hours getting them sold and paid for. granted this was only for a few, most came thru great. I also was reluctant to sell more because there was an issue with the mounting studs breaking but I have a solution for that now. If you want a roll pan I will need payment in advance before we build them and I need 3 prepaid orders. My cost per pan goes up quite a bit if I make less than that in each run. It would be best if you started a new thread for ordering if there is enough interest in them.

BlackySS13
So BSER, what is your solution to the studs breaking off?
BSER
I ran Flat alluminium bar stock from the bottom of the roll pan at each corner to the truck. Total cost 3 bucks. The bar stock be comes the stuctural peice the stunds just snug down the pan. The alluminium I bought at Home Depot was about 1/2 inch wide and thin enough so you can bend it to fit. DaGeorge
Will your roll pan work with the stock trailer hitch and if so does it look funny?? George
ssjonathan
I suggest getting the hidden hitch from Stylin Concepts. I installed a BSER roll pan on my truck and everyone has been crazy about it. I do recommend cutting the opening for the rollpan once you get it and prefit it. As you know not every truck is exactly the same. The hitch can possible line up slightly different and since I wanted the hole to be just slightly bigger than the receiver it looks really nice and very professionsl. BSER does a really nice job on these.
