SSmoothSilSS
Update, installed new Belltech springs, shocks, AC spark plugs, new Nitto 555 in the rear, I found a used dash top with no bad spots, rear cab interior corners and back cab trim in new condition. Replace battery connections, washer bottle was cracked and hole in the tube. Repainted the battery tray. The bad I can not get broken header bolt out, its FUBAR may have to pull the head. 1FASTBRICK
If the header/ manifold is off, center a nut over the hole and weld it to whatever is left. The weld will only stick to the steel of the bolt and the heat will break the bond. You can then back out what is left without needing to remove the head. SSmoothSilSS
Grumpytony, when I was look to buy it was quite wide of what guys wanted, average was $8K to $23k, depend on what they have done. A stock RCSB depend on what year and shape can vary from $3k to $10k, and Blue book for my 2003 Regular Cab Short box was $8600. Trans plant 6.0 cost vary depending on the price you pay for the motor and if you do the install or pay someone else, and if you don't like the color and want new paint average $5-$7 for a professional job. SS cladding, Total interior, wheels, tire, suspension, is up in the air for your cost. of the deals you find. So the average with most of this done I see at $14K well under what the prior paid for everything. I paid less, and it came with the 6.0 new paint, full SS interior, full SS cladding, the suspension,( which I bought new and replaced, So since I have had it I have put another $2k into it, and my time. From Seller silverbird59 http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-GARNISH-MOULDING-FASTENER-FOR-GM-REPLACES-15748479-/121834130488?rd=1&ssPageName=STRK:MEAFB:IT
SSmoothSilSS
Finally some nice weather to get going on the truck again, I raised it up a couple inches, low is a pain in the ass, I like the look but now I don't have to worry about scraping all the time. Added Nitto 555 285/35/22 up front, was 265's. Ready to add new carpet and pad, and tune wiring. Get the interior back together, new exhaust, replace the rack and pinion. Then to paint.
