Ahkmed
I'm building a turbo motor for my 03 silverado ss. My goal is 800hp at the wheels. I will be doing a 4l80e swap with trans brake. but was wondering if their are any problems keeping the truck awd with that much power or if I should make it 2wd. I don't want to be rebuilding a front diff every week
1BAD2K
04 chase made more power than that and retained his awd. I wouldn't worry. 4l80e and you're good.
Ahkmed
That's good didn't really want to go 2wd. Do you know if he had any problems with stock tie rods breaking

Link2603
I don't have any problems with the tie rods or transfercase. You will be fine.
70chevy03ss
If I remember he did a whole front end conversion and still kept it awd . And he added straps to the frontend. Not sure if the build thread is still on the forum or not.
