deve8edsilv
or for anyone that is lazy, or (for the best reason) just wants to add to the pimp status of your truck; get one of these: http://www.droptail.com/ I have one and it is everyone that sees it is like I talked with Jim, I believe he is the owner, and he is awesome! I don't know if it will help, but you might mention that you were referred by Josh at the "truck forum". I did mention something about a group purchase and he seemed like he would be in. any questions or if you want pics of it installed, let me know. It is very easy to install and just plain cool....... GEAR M UP
How much does that cost? Just a Linear Actuator holding up the bed? It would be hard to see that thing to say together over time. We make something like that to open/close big rig truck tarps. You get a lot of vibration in vehicles. That actuator has to be bullet proof to stay together! But, if you have about $300 and some time you can do it yourself

SSplaytoy
If you have a tonneau, you need a kit for that first.

SSplaytoy
yep, not tonneau yet though. still looking. Try the Gaylord Speedstur. It's quite popular. I know I love it. A little pricey though stylish.

SSplaytoy
You do make a valid point. I'm on a budget though. I was to in the beginning and liked it too much so a paid about 1100 bucks for mine. Some people got thiers for half that though. You could shop around and check some old topics about it. If not, good luck finding a lid.

SSplaytoy
It actually sits quite low. The ARE sits up there though. And BLACKYSS, you should check out the gaylord x2000 group buy. You could save the $ if you like that lid.
