hadadually
So.... I have searched and read many many wonderful threads in reference to the rear window leaks on these trucks, unfortunately, mine seems to have a different problem, the front of the glass (in relation to the front of the vehicle) clips into the window frame and has been removed previously for paint work, and is loosely fitted currently due to the plastic being worn/cracked/broken. I am considering gluing the windows shut against the frame box, since nobody rides in the back seat, and rolling windows down in my truck is forbidden anyways lol. anyone else done this? I think the only other option is top replace the window frame and that looks like mucho trabajo...... thanks in advance! Jason
Downeast Johnny
I have read, on the forum, about someone who used silicone to "glue" the windows shut.
jddmj
Would it fix it? More than likely. Do I know a better way? No. Would I suggest it? No. Unless its a clean silicone job, it won't be reversible if you use actual glue. That would be why I frowned on it.
