dros44
Is it ok to do a CAI, Exhaust, Headers, AND a MAF sensor along with a PCM tune. Or would the MAF and the PCM tune not work well with each other. I would love to know and thank you for your input
zippy
the maf will work with the pcm tune as long as you tell the tuner you're getting the upgraded maf.
BlackySS13
MAF isn't much worth it though.

TurbochargedBerserker
MAF's are problematic as well. The MAF table can't be calculated, and if the manufacturer doesn't provide a new MAF table (none do, TMK) then tuning the MAF table is at worst a 'close enough' hack and at best months and months and months of tweaking. I don't know many people who actually tune for a replacement MAF. By tune, I don't mean just scaling the stock MAF table by X%, but actually finding the correct table values. A MAF with a hack tune isn't going to be much better than a MAF with a stock tune. The stock MAF can support 550hp, so replacing it is generally more hassle than its worth. I see tons of "Putting the stock maf back on" threads on the tuning sights.
