DirtySSouth
Hey i was just experimenting with my ss from 0-60 and it really feels like the truck is faster with the truck in Tow Haul, it seems like it holds the gears out longer and revs longer. Tell me what u guys think, Jonathon K.
rmcswain
Moto: You may have something there with the towhaul mode and more power. I believe the transmision has different shift points and it certainly feels stronger in the tow mode. I'm sure others if they haven't will run the 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile in tow mode and report back
BigTex
On the other GM trucks, tow / haul has different shift points, shift firmness, and shift speed at WOT. I don't think its shift points are very high. During non-wide open driving, it holds the gears a little longer and when it shifts, its a little snappier shift. I don't think tow / haul has any effect on engine timing or other engine performance items (at least from my experience with LS1 edit).
