Is it a coupe or hard top. I also heard it would be a convertable.

Don't know if the zo6 will have a convertible in the first year. :dunno:

All sixth generation corvettes come standard w/ a removeable hard-top. The only options on this part are a painted to match top or a glass "sky view" top. I've removed the top on my dad's a dozen times... easy to do... one person job... and it fits into a set of clips under the rear glass. Its a very slick design... all the benefit of a convertable in good weather... none of the bad parts when the weather turns bad.

Here is the specs for the car-

• Aluminum engine block with 104.8-mm bores and pressed-in liners

• Forged steel crankshaft with 101.6-mm stroke

• 6-bolt, forged steel main bearing caps

• Titanium connecting rods

• Cast aluminum flat-top pistons

• Racing-derived CNC-ported aluminum cylinder heads with 70-cc chambers

• 56mm titanium intake valves

• 41mm sodium-filled exhaust valves

• 11.0:1 compression ratio

• Composite manifold with 90 mm single-bore throttle body

• Camshaft with 15-mm (.591-inch) lift

• Dry-sump oiling system

• 7000-rpm redline

WEIGHT: 3130lbs/1420kg

500hp/475lb-ft torque 7.0liter v8

The engine has not been "derated", the curb weight is 3130, not 2900, the torque is 475, and the guy who posted the *real* Z06 pictures on the internet is now feeling the wrath of GM's lawyers.

Do some searches, everybody seems to have their own versions of the "specs", it's pretty funny!

I'm guessing the Viper-Z06-GT40 rivalry will now start getting interesting?

;)

Nice Vette anyways, the front looks better than any Vette has for decades, IMO?
