SilverSS
whats up all, been busy lately but im purchasing a vehicle this month, have a few in mind of course SS is first How much should i try to get these SS for? i found one Black(best color) its an 03 with 305miles on it..... they have it listed online for 33898, i think thats to high for an 03 and it doesnt have onstar or anything like that. it does have the Bose stereo system though The second one is also an 03, Red, listed for 40,000 (the hell if theyll get that from me) and basically i think it has nothing in it, just a standard SS whatever that is. its actually got no bose stereo and just the regular Cassette/cd player. ??? just let me know give me some idea's to go on i know a few have gotten theres for like 30/31 with T-T-L so let me know how to run this
ChevySSandChevy8.1
wow those prices are terrible, they are really really high. The 40 grand red one is definately not worth it. I traded in my red 03 SS fully optioned for 03 wtih 14000 miles on it and I got 26500 for the truck, and thats because they really wanted to make a sale. They are selling it at the dealer for 28000 even, i got a new 04 SS full optioned except chrome rims for 31000. Those prices are defniately a rip off especially for an 03. If the local market is that bad you might wanna consider getting your truck shipped in, or look on ebay. Currently theres a few 03s with a buy it now price around 28 000. If you are going to pay around 33 grand you should have a new one.
TA219
there is a thread somewhere titled "how much did you pay for your SS" you should go look at that talk about some folks who can chew the price down
Woffski
That is too much money for both of them. Go to a dealer and talk, it will surprise you.

orion :: SS
^^^ Damn, good deal. I found my Red '03 with 18,200 miles for $25,900 (just got it last week)... I felt that was a "fair" price. I wouldn't pay more that $30k for either if those, even with the LOW, LOW mileage. SilverSS
Geez, well i called on the first one. The black 03 with 305miles on it is going for the price i listed above.... $33,898, they said they will not go lower. and that on the lot its listed for $36,000.... hes like well it has leather seats and blah and blah and bose radio and xm and im like dude.... im not stupid people could get an 04 with onstar for the price youre trying to sell yours for, and all he kept saying was "reaaaallly" which got annoying, guess ill check on the red 03 now
styleandspeed
make them go lower, or go elsewhere. I paid about 7k less than that for my new 03 about 5 months ago. Mine also had the towing package, bose, and xm radio. Edited December 14, 2004 by styleandspeed (see edit history)

What lot is it at? I'll go take a look at the truck and see if I can find anything wrong with it to help you bring that price down some more. I hear the "big 3" take care of their employees like that, new and used. ssdealer
wow you guys must all be great shoppers cause i just priced out a new loaded ss just for shits & giggles and the list was almost 45k and my gm discount being a dealer was 37500 before rebates. I dont know how people are getting these trucks so cheap. I only observed a 4% increase between 04 and 05. Fill me in if i am missing something. If thats the case my dealership has been drastically overcharging for these trucks. GMS which is employee pricing, was 37500 and that number was significantly below invoice. It actually is invoice minus holdback minus advertizing. Please fill me in. Any info i get i will pass along as well. The price on the two trucks you were talking about are way way out of wack. These trucks typically drop 25-40 percent depending on milage in the north east depending on milage. . Ive just ordered about 3000 in upgrades and cant wait to school some ricers with my newly hopped up beast. Good luck shopping and I hope you enjoy your new SS
