uncald4 Posted November 1, 2008 Report Share Posted November 1, 2008 This subwoofer enclosure was built for a Kicker S8L5 which is the Solobaric 8" square sub. It is a downfire box with a 1/2" clear plexi window on the front. The box itself is made from 3/4" MDF. The inside is painted flat black and the outside is covered in black trunk liner. It has 12 gauge cable run through the box. DOES NOT include the woofer. This was in my Silverado SS for about 3 months. It hits very hard and accurate. Built toward ROCK music. The carpet is a bit worn from taking it in and out many times. But it's not visible since it's tucked under the seat. My truck is my DEMO vehicle. As you can see it takes up very little room. No need for a grill because the woofer is not exposed. $80 plus shipping. Please let me know if you have any questions.
