  1. I just put up a few more pictures in the gallery including the group shot.. I've got many more coming, but I'll need some time with my photo editing machine at work. Stupid laptop just can't handle 10mp raw files.
  2. SilveradoSS.com/TrailBlazerSS.com Day at the Drags 2007 September 22nd, 2007 Lebanon Valley Dragway
  3. Got the S80 all packed and ready for the morning. Cameras are all on charge for the night. I wish everyone a safe drive in and can't wait to see everyone. -Zane
  4. Looks like this is going to rock folks. Josh and I are pumped to meet all the new folks and see the regulars. We will be bringing the Silverado SS posters and decals we have to give away. We'll also have some cartoon tee-shirts, hats, and key-chains for cheap. If you would like my cell phone- please don't hestitate to send me a PM. Stitches will also have my cell if anyone needs to get a hold of us. We plan on using the group food pool- so let us know if we need to bring anything.
  5. I'm glad some of the new smilies are getting some use.

    Search Button

Really good idea. We will look into making the search function more visible.
  7. Refresh the cache on your browser. You should also see the new favicon show up if you're using IE7 or Firefox. Updates to the smilies today! Off to the office we go, look for more stuff all day today. -Zane
  8. Wow, what a list of people. Can't wait to see everyone again and meet some new faces. It's looking like Josh and I will be driving over in a Volvo S80, but that may change. Either way, we'll probably not be able to race what we bring. Stupid press cars!
  9. What's up folks! Just wanted to pop in and say that Josh and I will be coming down on the 22nd. Let us know what we need to bring in regards to food! Naturally, we'll have SilveradoSS.com stickers and other stuff with us too. Can't wait to catch up with everyone. Last year, although a rain bust- was still fun. Can't imagine how slick it would be if we actually got a nice day!
  10. Bad news folks.. Josh and I will not be able to make it due to an emergency financial obligation that popped up in the last few weeks. We're extremely disappointed we can't come, but trust Zippy will do a kick ass job as usual.
  11. the server was the target of a DOS attack earlier this morning. It was minor but the ripples of the massive onslaught of connections is still causing minor connectivity issues. Thanks for bearing with us for the rest of the day today. Things should be back to normal tonight.
  12. where are most people staying this time around? I looked at the Fairfield website and it says there are no rooms avaliable. Josh and I will be in town from Fri night-Sunday afternoon.
  13. Josh and I will be booking as soon as we figure out the day we're coming and if we're flying or driving. I have an event I may be required to attend Friday morning, so we may have to fly in late Friday night.
  14. You've spoken, we've listened. As of right now, the editing restriction is only in effect for the "members" group. Senior Members and all Supporting Members are again able to edit their posts with no restrictions. I hope this is a good compromise for everyone. In return, I need to ask a favor from all of you. Please do not be afraid to use the "Report This Post" button when you see an objectionable comment from someone. We look at every single reported post, often within minutes of them being submitted. Just because we may not want to edit something, does not mean we don't want to know what's going on. It's just impossible for me to keep up on every new thread or post. That ok for everyone? I apologize for taking a week to address this problem but figuring out what's the best choice is often not an easy process. I want to make sure any choice is a good one for all of you and the health of the board.
  15. Steve and all, It was never my intention to slip anything by you. I just never anticipated that people used the option so often. Tonight I have some guests over at my house, but tomorrow morning I'll come back to this thread, read it thoroughly, and re-evaluate the policy with an open mind. Sorry there was a lack of communication- there was honestly no malicious intent here. Thanks everyone, have a good evening! -Zane

    "edit" button

We have decided to put a limit on the time frame for which people can edit their posts. Allowing someone edit a post at anytime, we felt, only provided a buffer for people to say derogatory things, only to delete them when they got criticized for saying it. By putting a time limit on how long you can edit a post after you've first made it, we hope members will stop and think about what they type, knowing that if they say something that isn't helpful, they can't run, hide, and act like it never happened. Just trying to insert some social responsibility here. We didn't publicize the change simply because we didn't want to make a big deal about it. Sorry for the confusion. We currently have these limits set on how long a member can edit a post after they have first made it. Members (members with under 5 posts)- 15 minutes Senior Members- 60 minutes Supporting Members- 90 minutes Thanks everyone.
  18. Have fun guys. I wish NJ was a little closer for me!
