Check your RPO codes in the glove box. M32 = 4L65E and M70 = 4L70E. I bet you got a 4L65E. Only the Vortec Max (NHT) package got the 4L70E.

Are you sure they mean the 2WD also? Where does this info come from? The dealer brochure clearly states that the Vortec MAX package on a 2WD truck has 3.73 gears. Mike <{POST_SNAPBACK}> www.KBB.com You can go there and build it out.

Yeah, I thought all the 2WD trucks with the LQ9 had 3.73, not 4.10 gearing. Anyone KNOW they have the 2WD, LQ9, GT5 (4.10) setup? I have 275/40/17 Kumho on my Z28 and have had no problems. I will buy Kumho for my VHO when the time comes.

Actually on the 2006 ... I believe it requires the ZX3 suspension (ride control) not the Z85 ... The Vortec Max Trailering package NHT for the OBS and NBS trucks requires the 6.0L motor. If the truck has the Vortec Max decal on the door then it has the 6.0L. The dealer or seller is adding the Vortec Max decal if it has something other then the 6.0L. Best way to check is the VIN. You could get the 20's later on without getting the high performance package. There was also another package where you got the Z60 suspension and 20's with the 5.3L. The OBS trucks have the LQ9 345HP and the NBS trucks have the 367HP L76. The Vortec Max package also requires the Z85 suspension which includes the 4.10 gears. You can now get the L76 6.0L in the NBS trucks without getting the Vortec Max Trailering package. The L76 6.0L is also available in the Suburban 1500 and Avalanche trucks also.

In the owners manual it talks about the SS having them. It states not to use them or you will damage the front bumper cover.

Radix B&B exhaust SS insrument cluster Escalade door handles Added power folding mirrors with body color mirror caps Denali dash trim ring Buick Rainer Black wood steering wheel Headrest from Intimadator SS truck with the D Earnhardt logos. Took all the trim molding off the sides of truck including LS badges. I left the VHO emblems on it with one added to the tailgate.

B&B must have changed designs on the side exit exhaust. My B&B duals out the back of the muffler with two pipes. Mine is a side exit also. I noticed yours has one pipe out the back and then splits into the tips. Whoever buys it will enjoy the B&B, I like mine. BTT for you. Mine duals in the front of the muffler and duals out the back of the muffler.

I know I have to back the VHO in just to get the garage door down. Just bought the house and never realized while it was being built actually how small the garage is. They call it a 2 car garage. I could probaly barely get the Z and Trailblazer in there. The Center Mounted Exhaust was a SLP option on the Camaro SS in 01 and 02 only. I had it laying around the house since 2002 when I picked it up used. I decided to put it on the car. Thanks for all the positive comments on the car. I only paid $7000 for it. It had 100,000 miles on it when I got it. I am the third owner but it was garaged its entire life. Car has T-tops/leather/Hurst 6 speed/Monsoon deck with 12 disc changer/Y2F sport appearance package. I have added the CME/loudmouth exhaust/35th SS wheels/SLP lid/SLP strut tower brace/K/N. I have springs/shocks/subframes in the garage awaiting install. I changed all the fluids when I got it/plugs/wires/serpentine belts. I am getting 25 mpg out of her. This is why I drive it instead of the VHO right now.
