  1. The bose unit is designed to work as a system. Do a search you will find a multitude of information on this topic. If you are going to replace the amp, you also need to replace the speakers, and if you are keeping the stock HU you will need a factory interface like the kenwood KOS-V1000, or an LOC to get a signal from the old bose harness to the new amp.

The search button is your very bestest friend right now.

You can do the above to keep the factory HU but I would recommend changing to a after market HU unit. I installed a Kenwood double din with USB capabilities and love it! Sound quality is much better then the stock units. JMO

  2. Common problem with the SS's cladding, some are worse than others.

Its the 3M tape that makes the body ripples. You can take the body cladding off and put on new tape and it will disapear for awhile. Mine looked the same way for a long time. Sorry, to get off topic the wheels look great and even a better price.

  3. The SS badge is also airbrushed on with a lot of clear over the tailgate. My door SS badging is done the same way. So taking it off will require sanding it down and starting over. I was going to get the piece today but it woudn't fit in my moms car, so I will have to go get it myself in a couple of weeks. Thanks, for the comments guys... I guess I'll have to see it person to determine what needs to be done.
