Thinking about buying shares now at $.06 it could only go up
Did you end up buying some of this. SIRI has tripled in price this week I'm now even.

If you own a 05-06 GSX-R 1000 im sure you already got your frame recall letter. But your frame might have only needed a support bracket cuz you didnt have any frame cracks...... Well this is what happens when you DO have frame crack. Complete tear down and rebuild=A LOT OF WORK AND AND EXTREEME CRASH COURSE IN BIKE BUILDING.... anyone got any questions about this recall feel free to ask.
Is there a time frame for the recall?

Get a "Bully" I have owned Boxer's, Pits, and a few mutts. Our Bulldog stole our heart the first day we got him. Yes, they have some health issues but every breed does, just get one from a reputable breeder.

Go for the Beater! I picked up a little S-10 for 2 grand to get me around while I do mods and the new truck doesn't like the snow like the SS did.

Black2003ss I'm in a few stocks that will probably go tits up... so yeah I will be able to claim some losses next year. If anybody wants to know what stocks NOT to buy pm and I'll show you my portfolio. It's all in the RED.

I'm sure glad I bought a ton of SIRI stocks last year!

Yes, you want the the intercooler fluid constantly moving.

I loved my SSS in the snow. One of the better vehicles I've ever owned for winter travel.

You gotta get those perishable foods home on time.
And the kids should never be late to school.

I am not a fan of the TBSS. It's just a fast grocery getter.
And that my friend is what I use it for

SSthunder "It's kind of like if our trucks came with a super charger stock."
This raises a good question... should the SS's have been built with a supercharger?
-
I just ran into this guy at C-store. He let me in on some of his mods. He pulled the Hemi and had it stroked to a 426 with a lot supporting goodies. Now, I don't feel all that bad. He's putting down 540 to the wheels.
-
I knew he was going to get me but I didn't really think he would pull me that hard.
I'm sitting pretty stock, K&N intake, Magnaflow exhaust with resonator deleted.

Went out to a little x-mas shopping and got to play with the TBSS a little. It was a nice cold day so it felt like it had a few extra ponies. I was screwing around with a lifted truck and I check my rear view and see the Jeep. I have never run one so I thought what the hell... we got away from traffic and hit the horn two times and I jumped him early on the third blast, I got about a car length ahead of him and he reeled me in pretty quick and started to check out. At about 75 he was 6-7 car lengths ahead of me.
Just wanted to share, and now the wife knows why I'm looking for a Supercharger if she reads this, hehhe

I went up and test drove one of these new ones and was impressed with interior, it was roomy, most of the controls were located nicely and looked really sharp. The model I test drove was the Hemi fully loaded with the dual exhaust. For power I wasn't that impressed... I'm pretty sure momma's TBSS would smoke it. I like the new body style but I will be waiting for them to come out with the new style offering the cummins as I now need a desiel for towing.
I would like to see this truck built. http://www.dieselpowermag.com/news/0811dp_...6_7l/index.html

Now thats a RR I would own!

Wow, what a steal! Keep it and enjoy. Those trucks run pretty strong with a few mods.

Just wondering what made you choose the SRT-10Ram (just wondering)? I drove the Midnite Rider Edition crew cab here with 33k miles for 30 grand and could not justify it..... Truck didnt perform as much as I expected it too I guess. They also had the truck sitting in the sun, covered in at least 2 millimeters of pollen. When I got my SS they stored it in the basement of the dealership. Check out Billy Boat for the headers they have for that SRT-10. I am kinda mad they dont have them for our SS...
If I had the choice, would have gone with a colorado and dropped the 427 LS7 engine in that and add awd.
What really made my mind up was when I was driving to the dealership to check out an SS they had on their lot I passed 4-5 Silverado SS's on the way. Got me to thinking about getting something a little more unique. Iv'e always wanted an SRT-10 since they came out but thought they were way too pricey. Then oil prices went through the roof and the price of these trucks became dirt cheap.
You are right about the quad cab not being as sporty as one might think. They are heavy pigs and need some good mods to overcome the weight issue. After owning both trucks I can give some real world comparisons. Both trucks have their pro's and con's but to sum it up the SS was fun but the SRT-10 is a blast.
I'm also currently building a 96 S-10 which will destroy my SRT-10 in the 1/4
