yah, the theft rate is ridiculously high in Vegas. My insurance would've went up $110 per month if I would've switched from FL to Nevada insurance. A buddy of mine works for the police department here in Vegas and says between 15-20 cars per month are stolen from casino parking garages (where my truck was stolen from) My bro photoshopped the pic for me. . .

Sooo, for all that dont know my truck was stolen a couple months ago in Las Vegas and my wheels and system were stolen along with the bed being scratched from the thieves trying to pry open my snug-lid. Got some new Boss 313's and they powder coated the lip red like my old wheels, got a few panels re-painted as well. Got her back this week and took a pic at the mall. . .

darn, my trucks in the shop and wont be out for a couple weeks or else i'd be down for the meetup but my trucks not track worthy. . .yet

I just ordered the boss 313's to replace my stolen boss wheels. I almost got the 330's that u have on your truck but the 313's look sick.

they found just the truck. Never had a claim on my insurance before. So thanx for the advice Umm. . . i prefer a radix or STS but i just want to go faster. Something that'll put me around 450-500hp. have about $3200 to spend

truck was recovered today. to my surprise just the wheels and system were gone(that sux but i expected more damage). No other damage besides them trying to pry open my snugtop tonneau cover. Do you guys think new wheels probably stock stereo and snugtop are worth claiming on insurance? I guess now Im in the market for a S/C shoot me the info on that procharger sick03ss

Sweet! thanks man. What bank? I hope Bank of America or USAA will allow me to purchase form a private seller. I'll be checking into that and hopefully driving another SS buy the end of the month. Was contemplating getting a 6 or 7 series BMW. I've seen some 04-05's on ebay through dealerships for under $28k but the SS has my heart like my first love. LOL

Not sure if I'll be able to get that much for an 03' model vehicle.

well i've got 2 trucks im interested in, either 04blacksss's truck which has a nice radix S/C and is pretty close to what my truck used to look like. Or the 408 stroker STS SS "800hp" truck on ebay. They're asking $28k which doesnt sound like a bad deal: ebay item#: 320329429076 I'd just have to worry about shipping. Yah, insurance usually takes 30 days but my insurance agent through USAA told me that since its an 04' they'll start processing after 2 weeks. I'm hoping it doesnt get recovered as well. Who knows what kind of condition it'll be in. As long as i dont come out of pocket, i'll be good (fingers crossed). anyone ever go through a local dealer to sell their vehicle when they already had a buyer for it? I'm sure when i get another auto loan that I won't be able to purchase from a private seller. Unless things have changed.

So my 04' Silverado SS was stolen last night 01-01-2009 out of the Venetian parking garage in Las Vegas (no surveillance). I havent been back living stateside for 3 weeks yet and my truck gets stolen. I'm looking to buy within this month preferably: Black or maybe Red Supercharged or Turbo AWD 04/05 looking to spend around $20k Looking for something on the western region that i could meet up with or come and pick up and drive home. lemme know whatcha guys got. I was looking for other vehicles and couldn't imagine driving anything else

Sorry to jump in to ur thread but I saw the topic "black rims with red strip" so I had too. Not to bash ur truck because its still clean as hell but the black/red rims IMO looks better on a black truck. I had the lips on my rims powdercoated red and its actually held up pretty good considering I've been drivin on them for almost a year. I think I might have one chip that didnt even break all the way through.

which side you missin? I have 3 driver side covers because for some reason the passenger side light would magically "disappear". I went through 3 sets of tailight covers until I got smart and got dan (sprayed99) to send me some smoked tails.

I'm in Pensacola FL so if you guys do a meet in Tallahassee or Jville i'm down for the 4 hour drive
