I have 4.10 gears in my Denali and it rides on factory 20's....Goodyear Eagle LS if memory serves me.....these tires really suck and I have all sorts of funny vibrations and noises from these tires and only have 5000 miles on my truck! At 100mph....hits the speed limiter @ 101.....my 4.10 gears are really "humming" so you could be hearing gear whine galore at 125mph!?!? This does not explain the vibration, however! Well...I guess it's the "nature of the BEAST" .they took down the drive shaft checked it and they said everything OK.I can just barly feel it.And the sales man said the truck was design for pulling...not speeding....It looks like I am going to need a GPS to find out my top speed, because at 125 mp it shift to 4th gear and still pulling....

How fast can you go with your truck Jonmalibuss ? there is a lot of trucks around..but yours looks awsome!.Thats 2 people that told me it could be my tires...I still have the stock on and I hate them!

I wish I was a computer wiz..so I could reply the right way...I had a couple of people that told me that they like that color,but more poeple ask me What's that " VORTEC MAX "? my awser to dodge fan is "Hemmi beater" and to GM fan is 345 +hp. Maybe I could call my truck "silver bullet" I just put in a tune and now 125 mph!!!! is it normal I get this humming noise? I have a 4.10 rear.

I just programed my 06 ext cab V-max sierra 4x4 with superchip performance 91 octane it goes to 125 mph but I get this loud humming noise it starts at 110 mph and gets louder ,I hear it and feel it, what is it ? it feels like the the drive shaft is out of balance ?Is it normal ??? I have a 4.10 rear end.I would like some help before tuesday ,I made an appoitment at the dealearship because I only got 25,000 miles.I don't know what or how to tell them this problem .....I gess I could tell them ALL the truth ..."I get this awful noise at 125 mph "

I'm with ya. I loved the looks of the SS, but it wouldn't do all the stuff I wanted MY truck to do. The Vortec MAX was the perfect truck. I am still trying to get a taste of the handsome look of the SS. I bought an SS grille and swapped out the chrome one. I also bought red mirror covers, door handles, and tailgate handle. I might do more. I definitely love my V-Max. Mike heavyfoot? My black one looks mean I think... This truck is the perfect mix! What color is your vmax Mine is silver birch metalic this is not my best color, my #1 color is BLACK by far and #2 is victory red but I pick out that color because you don,t see the dust on it as much.

I had a 04 sierra ext.cab 4x4 duramax diesel, but I wanted something more peppy,so I looked at a SS Silverrado,but I wanted to have the choice of 4x2,4x4H,4x4l,so I disapoited that the SS didn't have that option,so I ordered a 06 sierra SLT with VORTEC MAX package,it took 2 months to get, it is nice... but still it does not have the SS mean look that I wanted.So when I got the truck in 11/05,I punch in vortecmax.com...nothing...I did it again last week and...I found it. It looks terrific,good job When can I ask questions,and make comments ?
