  1. Hey guys! I installed my long tubes 2 years ago with high flow cats and about 6 months after installing them... I started getting a couple check engine lights. I have been very reluctant to fix the issue because it really has not affected how the truck drives. However it idles badly some times. In the past I have had P0430 pop up a lot (I clear it with a scanner about once a week). But lately I just got P0420 which is Bank 1 (and P0430 is Bank 2). So I'm guessing that these cats may not be too great? Obviously they are not stock so I should not be surprised by this. My question is, does anyone else have experience with this problem? Thanks!
  2. So I guess I won't worry about it unless it happens again... I was just wondering what the message stems from. What sensor(s) go off to send that message to me on my info center.
  3. On my console I got the Service 4WD message for a few minutes it seemed like and I haven't seen it since... what should I do about that? What does it mean? Thanks in advance guys...
  4. No clearance issues at all. It came with an extension for the driver side second o2 sensor(after cat) but didn't need it on my truck. I did it in my drive way, put the car on two jackstands up front, took the front wheels off, had to support the tranny for a little while with my hydrolic jack but it was really no pain at all. I have had my fair share of installs on my past vehicles that were much more difficult. I definately recommend a good set of tools with a few irregulars like wobbly/pivoting extensions but it's not a must-have. It has definitely picked up power on mid-top end. Tires break loose at a dead stop and continue to spin pretty much until I let off the gas. It hits the 99mph limit much faster from a 60mph start. So all in all I couldn't be happier!
  5. I installed them two weeks ago and I love them! Installation was easy, straight forward, and well guided by their included instructions. One bolt with the kit came un-finished which I had to replace before installation but it was not a big deal for me. I love the way it looks, and I love the way it sounds. I have the supermaxx headers w/ high flow cats hooked up to a flowmaster cat-back single muffler to the stock tip set up right now. It sounds great and I couldn't be happier!
  6. Oh good that's great to hear. I will post when I get them installed and let you know how I like them I bought them from a retailer not supported on this web site so I'm not sure of this forums policies. I can message you information about where and what price I got them for though.
  7. I just ordered the Dynatech Supermaxx header system with high flow cats. I am really excited to get them and I cannot wait for them to arrive! I know pleanty of people here have this system, so I wanted to ask how the install went? I'm matching this system up to my stock cat-back with a flowmaster muffler already installed. Is the fitment good? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  8. Ahh well that's not the answer I was hoping for hehe. Thanks for the info though. Why do they not fit?
  9. I just wanted to confirm, though I think it's been said.... These also fit the V-Max too because its the same engine/trans/suspension but the awd vs 4wd doesn't get in the way? I am ordering LTs soon and I'm liking these pacesetters price! They hook up to stock cat-back also?
  10. Well I have an '06 lol. I can find headers and what not, but I'm not certain as to what is best to go with. I want reliability and a good design. I want a nice header, off road, and off-road-back system. A full exhaust system headers to tips.
  11. What are some retailers and what are all my options for a full long tube header exhaust system to the tips?
