  1. Chase, just haul the truck out...Maybe we can meet up in Vegas and head out together...
  2. Finally officially faster than Evil...So pissed I couldn't go! Now we need to finish my motor with Dusty and see 10's for both of us!
  3. it's definitely a good feeling! Evil does it all on stock heads, stock bottom, no juice, and on my daily driving tune...yes, I drive it to work everyday in the exact form you see in the video!
  4. Yes, it's a Yank PTB3600, it will brake stall to 3700 and blow through the brakes spinning all four on the street through first gear... I was cutting 1.672 60's with my Toyo Proxes ST2's with 37psi in them! I'm not worried because I am going to a set of 18x9.5 KMC XD Monsters in Flat Black custom drilled to my bolt pattern with either 305/45r18 MT ET Streets or 275/45r18 M&H Dragmasters depending on what will fit under the front Dozer is my friend and tuner, we did everything on this truck ourselves...just like his Silvy!
  5. I think it's totally worth it, you get more room to grow with a D-1SC, you run a bigger pulley to make the same boost so you get more grip on the belt, you keep IAT's cooler by not straining the blower, the lis goes on, bit it's totally worth it! We are not sponsored by ATI Procharger, we just give props where it is due! We also give props to FLT, Yank, and House of Boost! We are all sponsored by our wallets!
  6. I'll let him chime in if he wants, but he hasn't run it at an NHRA track with proper timeslips! This winter he wants to restall to 3800 or higher and spin the F-1R to 19-20psi and make some records...that's all I can disclose! I also dumped the entire spare tire assembly as well as the entire EVAP system and charcoal canister on my TBSS, forgot that! I'll keep thinking of random shiat I've done as the thread goes on!
  7. all custom true cold air intake, modified 3.5" core intercooler, ceramic coated piping, HOB bracket with D-1SC, ADM E-Fan, FLT Level 7, Evil Trans Cooler with E-Fan, Yank 3600, custom meth system with Devil's Own 4 & 5gph nozzles, SD Tuning by Dozer, cam, pushrods, springs, Kooks 1 7/8 headers, true dual 3" with no cats, TR6's, full custom -8AN feed/-6AN return style 840lph fuel system, 60lb. Seimens Deka injectors, LS7 TB, And I can keep going but I'm drawing a blank...
  8. Its a healthy sized Comp XER...I really don't want to give out the specs because I don't want to hear from everyone who thinks they know everything about cams tell me why my cam is bad or what could be better when it clearly works like an effing champ! It's nothing against you, so don't take it that way...
  9. corrected for altitude, it's already and [email protected] When we make it to Sacramento, it will make 13psi and we are going to run Sunoco 104, so I'll be knocking on 10's with an all stock bottom end! At my race weight of 5120lb. I used 572whp to get to my ET and made 607whp to get to the MPH...At 25% drivetrain loss
  10. it's the Torsen T3 doing what it does...the waterbox made interesting RWDesque burnouts and as I launched, all four hooked! It even surprised me a little... Off the track it definitely spins 3-4 corners as the following shows...
  11. Lots of thanks go to Dozer as he is my good friend and tuner! We drove 70 miles, made 5 passes, drove home! It was an awesome day at the track! The DA's started at 4970 and went up just over 5200 by the last pass we made... It's a stock LS2 with stock heads. The only internals changed are cam, pushrods, PRC Extreme Springs.
  12. Go ahead and move #4 down to #5 and #5 off the top 5 list because our friend's stock LQ9 P-1SC/Meth Silvy SS ran a [email protected] I helped Dozer and the owner build this truck, Dozer tuned it... http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=48667
  13. Yaaaaawwwwnnnnnnnn! I'm thoroughly not impressed...If we could make the AWD Charger R/T do 13's at Nationals, you should be able to do better with Stef's TBSS...
  14. Great job Aaron and Keith! Sorry I couldn't be there...Ill be home and ready for the next trip out for sure!
  15. If it was a refrence to the track's timing, why would you make any comment of the truck being Procharged/Meth Injected when you talked to Aaron and Keith before hand and knew they were running low boost, with belt slip, no methanol, and super low timing? You knew the truck didn't shift out of 2nd gear on that pass so Keith let out of it, and it was the very first pass Keith has ever made in that truck. I consider that a slap in the face because I was the third party involved in building that truck!Next time we are all at the track, I dare you to line up next to Keith again...Ill get that on video and post it up here making condescending remarks about how slow your Silvy SS is...infact, ill race you in my TBSS and dirt you just as bad!You didn't get beat by 3 lengths by a Procharged and Meth Injected Silvy SS, you got beat by a completely conservative untuned non methanol Silvy running 7psi with Headers and Duals/cutouts. And Keith is a rookie drag racer to boot!
  16. These grilles look great in the Silvy SS, I was the prototype for the TBSS and I got RaceMesh to do my buddy's Red Silvy SS as a prototype. The only issue is, your grilles arent removeable from the painted sections, so he offers a mail-in option for the Silvy SS. Which in turn makes them less expensive you you guys than us TBSS guys. The kit he does is not an overlay, he strips out all the factory mesh and installs the stainless into your OEM surrounds permanently. http://racemeshgrilles.com/images/RaceMesh...%20EPSS%20b.jpg http://racemeshgrilles.com/images/RaceMesh...S%20EPSS001.jpg They are great quality and I love mine in my TBSS. http://racemeshgrilles.com/images/RaceMesh...d%20(Large).jpg
  17. The battery relocate not a kit, but the dual battery in the Duramax goes in that location, so you use the factory mount from that I'd imagine...About the shifter, we tried using the factory linkages/cable and no good! the B&M requires adjustability both on the Park and Gear sides so we could either get the factory cable to go Reverse all the way to 1 or Park down to 2...that's it!all in all it worked out and the shifter works well...Dozer never did a write-up on it and as far as we can tell, no one has done this...only the T-56 swaps have it...
  18. Ya, he was jealous of the factory console shifter in my Trailblazer SS, so we went and fabbed it all into the Silvy...
  19. This truck basically pours "nasty" all over the ground just sitting there idling with the QTP cutouts open...I can't wait to see the traction issues we are going to have at the strip...we will be doing a lot of upgrades to the front end eventually...I'm glad I get to see it in action in person...no waiting for video for me!
  20. Good! Id love to see you grenade one of his transmission...Good Luck, Ill be checking in...
  21. I wish it was as easy as taking a bunch of pictures...This project was definitely an intense undertaking and Im happy to be involved with it! We had some fun and some serious headaches...But with as few shakedown issues as we've had, I think we did it right! Now its time to beef the front suspension to handle the Torrrrrqquuueeeeee! Want my Center Diff? HAHA!
  22. I'm Dozer's friend that just dealt with all this crap with my TBSS. When the output shaft went, it shattered into 5 solid pieces and took out everything in the transmission, leaving only the Beast Sunshell, Valvebody, and the Converter. It was built to "level 5 specs" but as I soon found out, you can have any performance transmission builder build off a list of parts from FLT's site, but there are a number of "secret squirrell" things the guys at FLT do that stay in-house and aren't talked about! First of all, I must know why on earth you would claim to have a billet input shaft and you skimped on the billet output shaft??? That is just asking for trouble, the output shaft takes the most beating as it is! I'm also going to guess that your build included billet 2nd and 4th servos and a shift kit, right? Us TBSS guys are finding that the billet 2nd and shift kit combined create a super harsh 1-2 shift and shatters the output shaft...even with little traction. Next, FLT has just released their billet input shaft and can build you the absolute baddest transmission you can buy! Trust me on this, you've already done this four times, just call Chuck @ FLT!
  23. Anyone need the stock converter from my TBSS, I did a full build and have no need for it...apparently, the Silvy SS guys want my converter, right? Make an offer, I dont really care, just thought I would throw it out there because its just collecting dust in the box...PM me and we will discuss options, I live in Reno, NV if that really matters, but for shipping I think it might... Steve
