it will fit. ls1,ls6 and lq9 are all interchangable parts. Well, most of them. as for the intake depends. Are you planning on boosting it too. if you are go with a spider web intake. im goint with a TBSS intake with my cam swap because im getting a very good deal on one and i just wanna dip into the 12's but eventually i plan on a spider mani...good luck on your built
