Dont listen to these guys they are slow lol and ride each other to the end. True a push rod doesnt touch the pistons only valves do in bad cases
Sounds good be sure to save up for ported 243s or you will be very dissapointed after bolting on stock 243s and not the ls3 intake the ls6 intake is what you mean
Isn't this the dude that has a SS that runs 10's in the 1/4 but refuses to show track times???

With any body work, you get what you pay for honestly. Before you do it, tell them you want to look at some freshly painted cars. Check all the edges to look for runs, feel the paint to pick up bubbles or rough spots... Do your footwork and it'll save you.

I was reading a thread and people were saying that the new pacesetter design was much better than the old style. I don't know how to verify that in anyway, FWIW... I really just want a setup, with highflow cats, that'll bolt right up with no fabrication needed....

2003_Supersport... So you're looking for advise on getting the pacesetters? I looked at them as well. The price is awfully attractive... You can get them coated right? I also cant seem to find the 1 7/8 on summit. Only the 1 3/4

Ok. Im going to be under 600 for sure. Closer to 500hp. Would hate to have to buy another set down the road, but really dont want to be losing torque.

When people leave the site or close their accounts, it all goes with them... Sucks. If you could post directly to the page, it would help, but if I were to close my photobucket account, all my pics on here would go as well. I imagine this site would have to have a massive amount of available storage to allow direct pics, and thats not cheap.

I seriously feel like a complete noob looking at all these header threads. ARH is too much for my blood, so Im thinking about the Dynatec Supermaxxx headers. I dont have a supercharger and don't think I'll ever get one. So I think Im going to stick with the 1 3/4 with highflow cats. If I've done my research correct, these should fit right up, and the newer Dynatec headers are supposed to fit better... correct??
Any huge issues or FYI's that I should know prior to purchase?

I couldnt find anyone that sold them and I called everywhere. I bought them black, and had them powder coated to match.

Honestly it feels fine. Tony (NORCAL) told me that 1" drop with the key would be fine and keep the same ride quality, and he was right.
That's the exact drop ive wanted to do also. How is the ride? I know everyone rants about spindles for the front, where if I was going 2'' front drop then sure, but I only want 1'' front drop, so keys are the only option I believe. But read that it doesn't handle as good with turn down keys or whatever, which Is why ive been hesitant. I thought I read, spongy front end feel? I dunno, maybe what I read was just a rumor ( impossible! )... which I hope is the case, because I want 1/2 drop without losing handling

Yessir! I thought the 1/2 would work well with that tire/rim size. Feels great. Putting the DJM rear sway bar on tomorrow.
