I frequently slip a card between the driver's window glass and weatherstrip to drop an invite to our local group- I wouldn't sweat the OCD, if it's parked outside, you're probably way worse than he is.

Agreed. It's going to take more than the light mods he listed. People way understimate the SS/SC 'Balts.

As having owned an '06 SS/SC at the same time as having my SSS, I don't know what mods you have to the trucks, but a reasonably Stock SSS doesn't have a prayer against even the SC 'Balts, much less the Turbo cars. My '06 would hit 155 on the limiter in 4th, and creep in 5th. I'd have to call driver error for a SSS without a serious power adder to beat one.

Well, Friday Morning the group cruises from NPD headquarters to Cedar Key... We're leaving PC Thursday night, and had thought about going straight to Cedar Key and wait for the group to arrive, and follow them back to Ocala friday afternoon. I'm sure we could get something going, and there's usually a post- show GTG at Alehouse or somewhere similar Saturday night. I'm down, so long as there's beer.

I love me some Black, there is no better color... Here's my previous truck, and that should explain why the SSS is Red.

Psh, there's a " Tahoe SS" here in PC sporting the '03 up truck clip and an SS front bumpercover and emblems, he likes to throw me the thumbs up every time I see him. I need to make it a point to laugh uncontrollably at him next time.

I agree completely- We get spoiled by gas, but like the Kingsford Commercials say, "Slow down and Grill" Captain Morgan and I seared a perfect pair of Filet Mignon last night over the coals.

Here's my quick contri, I drug the truck out from under the cover, hosed it off and added some Brilliant Glaze, and headed 120 miles out to Carrabelle Beach... Fine coat of dust and less than perfect visibility over the Gulf, but here ya go... Thanks again Dylan and Adam's!!!

Mine is immediately left of the console above the accelerator pedal, though (all hail the Tekonsha Prodigy) with the lack of adjustment or input needed, I could relocate it somewhere less accessable. Guess the size of the unit would also dictate placement.

How much I'd like lining up with that would depend on what I was rockin'. ;) I need to take a long hard look at my Sonoma.
