Thanks man! It's tougher than ever to get recognition these days unless you're doing popular music. However, we do have some tricks up our sleeves. The Dallas Stars play us at games (guess we'll have to wait till next year) SQUIZZ has been HUGE for us - so airplay on XM in the US and Canda The Lex and Terry Morning Radio Network plays us - we're semi-regulars on the show + the newest venture for the band is: We've teamed up with American Idol Finalist (3rd place - season 1), Nikki McKibbin. We are working on her album with her and recorded 7 songs so far, leaving two more to record this week... The Idol exposure should be huge because every show we do with Nikki, we play as RIVETHEAD first... There's nothing wrong with a little James Taylor or some classic rock... We're an unsigned band, so the fact that we're in rotation with the signed bands on SQUIZZ - XM48 is awesome! We played on a bill with Powerman 5000, Crossfade and Black Stone Cherry a few weeks ago!!! Soooo, things are picking up!!! BTW - XM requests are easy...
