  1. I have been searching this forum and ebay trying to find the longer replacement arms to snug up the rear latches. I found a thread from Bill04ss showing the install but can't find where he purchased them. Anyone know if these are still available anywhere? Thanks.

  2. The problem you may have is that typically banks will not consider custom work on a vehicle for its appraised value. They also won't typically loan you more than the blue book value on vehicle in its original condition. If you are seeking a loan greater than what the s-10 would be worth based on blue book without customization, you won't likely get it. Its alll about security for the loan.

  3. Only stickers I have are on the radiator cover, with the Silveradoss.com front and center. It is a pain though because you need to remove the cover whenever working on the engine or you will damage the stickers leaning on them.

  4. Mine is coming in and getting painted this week. I did a search and it seems that I will only have to drill a couple of holes to install it myself (not a body guy). Once painted, can a novice install it? Also, while the other post didn't mention it, I assume you can just unbolt the bumper from below and don't need to take off all the plastic? Thanks in advance for any information you can offer.

  5. I installed the sway bar today, but am a bit confused by the directions. They seem to say that where the u bolts connect to the cross member and axle I should leave 3/16 inch of play. Should these u bolts be secured tightly or is there play left there? Thanks.

  6. you guys are really starting to peak my interest on this nitrous. Now I have a question. Will I need a new fuel pump to up the fuel pressure or can i do that with a tune? Im basically wanting to know if I need anything other than the lines, soleniods, jets, bottle, bottle heater, guage, activation switch, and the other safety things.

If you go with a dry kit, you will need to retune for more fuel. If you go with a wet kit, the fuel is added with NOS by tapping the fuel rails. You shouldn't need a new fuel pump unless you are close to maxing out now. What you listed should be about it. I just bought the truck plate package from Dave's today. Great guys to deal with.

  7. Dave's Nitrous Outlet sells a great complete package with a plate kit for the stock truck throttle bodies. It includes everything you will need. I plan on buying it shortly. They are also very helpful and informative. I have been speaking with Ray and he has been very helpful.
