my magnaflow isnt loud but it makes everything around it shake because the exhaust note is so deep... aeroturbine makes a good muffler if you're looking for something quiet but grunts, they are a little pricey though.. i'm just not a big fan of flowmaster because everyone down here that doesnt straight pipe uses them
look at their websites, most of them have sound clips so you can hear what they sound like

Dyno is gonna be first come first serve on saturday, and we're having our dealer training on Friday... i'll post more details as they're announced... it'd be nice to see some gas trucks out there b/c at the one in idaho there was only one last year.

you better do a particulate delete or that thing's fuel eco is gonna make you sick to your stomache... 1/4 of a tank to burn out the filter, no thanks... good luck with that, i love the power the LMM makes just not willing to put up w/ the EPA BS

a freind of mine through work has a company that sells HID kits for bikes, he hooked me up w/ a plug and play kit for my truck. to make a long story short the ballasts dont power up when i have the harnesses on the truck ones, but when we put them directly to a battery i couldnt see for an hour, everything tested ok.. lol... what could be wrong??? anyone got any ideas?? i'm pretty good with wiring so i'm thinking about doing a relay and wiring directly to the batt but if i dont have to i dont want to

dude i totally got one today too... i was going north on 35 right over lake lewisville and i switched lanes to get off at my exit, and i see a denton county sheriff f150 dodging traffic to get to me...I swear if he's more dangerous trying to pull me over than i am speeding the ticket should be dismissed... but i was caught doing 81 in a 60...I told the cop he was lucky my exit was so close, cuz he would have never got me in that turd

you might crack the amp open and look for a blown cap, had that happen on a system before, the amp powered up but no sound.. opened it up and a cap had puked all over.. soldered a new one in, worked perfect

We're supposed to have a mobile dyno, and maybe a few of our current show trucks... it's going to be mostly diesels i think, but it would be cool to see a few SS's there... i'll post the flyer when it comes from our graphic designer

From what I saw in the video the guy on the red bike clipped the other guy causing him to wreck. I'd be friggin pissed, buddies or not. That is exactly the reason why when I finally build my supermoto I'll be staying away from my idiotic friends that are all "Yo son stuntin' life is da sheet!". No offense meant, but that incident could have easily been avoided. Sure hope they're ok, your bud should get to the ER if you really think his CB is broken.
We all know the consequences of riding, some take more chances than others. that guy on the zx6 is normally who i ride next to, looks pretty clean when you got 2 identical bikes next to eachother... but i dont think i'm gonna be riding next to him for a long time...

the first one i had i got off a donor SS at a pick and pull... painting the chrome one is the cheapest way to do it, if i didnt have another truck my chrome one is going on i probably would have painted it... there's my post in General about getting factory part numbers for them, those come painted

Thats nice of them to get you a new programmer, but no offense, handhelds are junk. You need to get rid of that and get a custom tune, trust me you will feel a big difference from how the truck was when you bought it. The Superchips they bought you isn't calibrated for the Radix, it's calibrated for a stock truck with minor bolt-ons, that's why it feels weird. Again, time for a custom tune to release your trucks true potential.
Thats not true about all handhelds... most it is... mine just happens to be a custom tune, with parameters that are adjustable... my own tune... someone elses code to put it on a tuner.. the only reason i'm using a handheld is because my tune i run with my bigger nitrous jet runs to rich to be efficient when i'm forced to use my truck to commute.. just doesnt seem right when it takes half the time to get there on my bike. just seems simpler to have that flexability. not gonna throw any names out there there are a few tuners that allow you to get a custom tune and adjust certain parameters for flexability... i'm actually going to be testing an E85 tune in my truck this weekend(and no this is not on a production tuner currently, i dont work for that company)

LOL thats funny....sorry I found the parts sticky and saw the grill part numbes but didnt look at the years.
thats okay... could be helpful to someone.. lol... i'll get one of our dealerships that deals our parts to get me the part numbers in the morning

you got the Arrival blue 2003-2005?? p/n for the grill shell?? i like the 06 07 grill shell but it's not me...
-the other part#'s are very helpful though b/c now i can take the painted covers off mine and just put painted ones on

anyone have the part number for the factory painted grill shell... the one i had on there was from a donor SS, it was cracked and bondo and JB weld only last so long, so right now my chrome one is on. it's looking pretty stock again

thats pretty good, i have a whole 1.2 litre less and thats the best i see if i'm nice to it... on the stock 265's i was at 23 one time on a trip to west texas
. The guys at work run nitrogen in their tires and say they picked up some mileage with that
