I'm down for both. The all Chevy show on the 22nd & the cruise to the woods. I will find a place to meet up for the cruise so we can caravan in all together in a line.

Bosch spark plugs are a big no no in anything. I will never use then again. I tried the Platinum plus 2's in a vehicle before & had the electrode break off in the cylinder. Those plugs are junk!!! If it's a GM vehicle the best to use is A/C Delco!!!

(515-573-5000) Budget Host - Jct of Highway 169 & 20 (515-955-8501) I'll get some more info ready & get a new post put up so we can try & get some Wisconsin, Nebraska & maybe some Minnesota guys also. I'll have to check with my dad as he is a member of the wc cruisers club, but I think they have a prize for the most vehicles in a club that shows up & unforutnately the Corvette or Camaro guys always win it. They can even block off a special section for all of SS trucks to park together. I'll keep everyone posted on this. Yes some cars go up to the dragstrip on Saturday evening along with the regulars that are there. Also at the Cruise, they have a DJ saturday night, plus there is a craft show for the ladies to check out.

Yes great time tonight!!!! There were some awesome trucks & meeting you guys was great, my wife & I had a blast!!! Also thank you to the ladies for keeping my wife company. She is now passed out up stairs We are looking forward to meeting up with you guys again soon. The Cruise to the woods is October 6th & 7th. Also Humboldt dragstrip is only 16 miles north of Fort Dodge. It's a decent 1/8th mile track. Anyways I'm off to bed I'll hopefully get the pics up soon I have to recharge my camera to get them.

OK thanks, that's what I did today. I just wanted to make sure i did it right.

I wish I had great paint to start with it would be much easier to buff out. It looks like the previous owner had wiped the truck down with sandpaper. It has some deep scratches in it. Luckily they don't break through the clear. I spent 4 hours just trying to buff all the scratches out of the hood with my circular buffer & my 3M Cutting compound. One question? How long should you let the compound or wax dry before you buff it off?

Does anyone happen to have the measurements for the SS emblems go on the doors & the trunk. So I can put them in the correct spot. My SS didn't have emblems & not I have a set & need to know where exactly they go. Thanks to anyone who could help.

Could you shoot me a PM of a price on those LED taillights. Anyways as an update on my truck. I painted my taillights so they are red now. Look much better. I'll have to post a picture up. I also got rid of the blue low beam bulbs. I couldn't see for shit at night, so I for now just put some stockers back in. & I recieved my SS emblems today & they will be going back on the truck. I will be looking for some new rims soon, when I round up some more cash... Well the truck is getting closer to how I want it to look. Hope to meet some of you local guys soon.
