parts for a 2/2 spindle/shackle drop are (at full retail) like $300-350 and can be done by one person in a day so I don't understand why the additional $1200 expense...

make a low offer, not an insult offer but just something to let them know your interested but you want a good deal. they might accept but theyll probably return with a counter-offer that will be theyre rock bottom. id probably start at $395...

looks like you were using the ss as a smelting pot...
-
wooah, my bad i didnt even see that, these guys are way overpriced too! JF-03-SS is right, i got mine from tbyrne a lot less than $1279
-
$1279 is still up there!
anyone have the link for the tech article that quik did?
look again, sale price is $979
-
$900? Where did you find the rear Baer drum/disc conversion kit for that price? The only place I found it was stylintrucks.com for $1500, here is the link.........
these guys have a decent price, usa brakes...free shipping too!
-
about 6 months ago i did the conversion on my 06 vmax and i couldnt be happier with them!!! i also put the front alumasports on at the same time and now she stops on a dime. before the upgrade when people would stop short in front of me my heart would stop, my stomach would sink, and id grit my teeth and hope for the best...i havent had a close call like that since i put these bad boys on. theres a big difference from light to light but where i can really tell is the 80+mph panic stops. i drive like a maniac so this for me is my favorite mod yet...plus they look sweet too!

i dont mean to bash your project because i love doing stuff on my own as well, but in this situation if you save now you will pay later...rattle clear will only look good for a couple of days maybe weeks...rattle clear will evaporate and leave your tails looking dull and cloudy. if you want your tails to look nice you should take them to a body shop and have them lay down some expensive automotive clear.

nice truck, but i dought any1 from this chevy based site will consider buying it. reason being, it's a furd, and it would be against everything we stand for. and the price is ridiculous. any sain chevy lover would not even consider buying this. try some furd forums, you might get better feedback.

like drclaw said, save a couple more dollars and get yourself some long tubes...you wont find much if any performance increase out of shorties over the stock manifolds...maybe get a different sound but thats about it.
