  1. Hey everyone, how's it going? Yeah, so I'm new here, pretty killer site! I don't have an SS, but I do intend on getting one sometime in the near future. Now I don't know a whole lot about fixing up vehicles performance wise, but I know I love going fast, I guess you could say I'm not too mechanically inclined, but I'm hoping to pick up on a few things here! I've really liked some of the trucks I've seen here, especially usabodyguard's, that was a killer truck! So anyways, what am I working with right now? Well I've got a '95 Z71 Silverado and a '79 Pontiac Trans Am. You all probably don't want to hear about the car (it's still got a lot of work to go). So, the Silverado is a half ton, ext. cab, 4x4, naturally. It's still got the factory fire engine red paint. Yeah, nothing really too flashy on the outside. It has a 6-inch Pro Comp lift, 35-inch BFGoodrich tires on 15 inch aluminum rims (I forgot the brand, but they're nice enough), and a brush guard with two KC Daylighter off road lights. I haven't done anything with the interior. It does have a 12 disc Pioneer cd player, with Sony X-plod speakers (two 6's, two 6x9's, and two tweeters), no subs yet, but it's still loud enough. Performance wise, as far as I know, it has an LT1 under the hood, and the guys at Extreme Offroad (R.I.P.) put on some kind of aftermarket exhaust, never got to ask them what it was though. I do want to get that engine changed, but it does seem to kick out plenty of power for a truck that size, so I suppose it's okay for now. Heh, it's known as "Big Sexy" around here, because of the sticker that we put on the rear window, "Big Sexy... Size Does Matter". Most of the people around here recognize it, because it was one of the first lifted trucks in my area, and no one else has a red Silverado like that around here. Anyway, other than what I listed, I haven't really done too much else to the truck, but if anyone has any suggestions, I'm open to them. Here's a couple of pictures, I'll try to get some more quality ones later. Oh, and I know the light is facing down in that last picture, I meant to straighten it out, but I had tightened it back up after I had replaced the bulb, and it completely slipped my mind.
  2. Congrats on the win, Krambo!
  3. Man, I have to go with usabodyguards truck. It looks sooo damn sweet! I'm not really a fan of blue, but man the color is just amazing!
  4. Oh geez, a diesel powered 'Vette would be terrible! Good thing it's all a joke, huh?
  5. I second that motion. Legal action is the best way to go, but if it doesn't work, take matters into your own hands. It's good that you know who it is too. Same thing happened to one of my friends, and they still can't find the person that did it.
  6. Wow, the truck looks great, man!
