I had the borla kit for the SSS, but ended up replacing the muffler with super 44's and buying a straight piece of borla pipe to replace the resonators. It was a nice sound, but not quite loud enough. I'm more for the wow factor, even when it means cutting up a $1500 exhaust system.

I had my exhaust guy put two 3" cutouts on my stock y-pipe. It did take some skill but he put the cutouts on each side before the cats. He took the o2 sensors out and let them hang so as to not heat them up too much. Then took a sawzall to start the holes in the pipe, and finished the holes with the mig. Then to finish, he welded the two 8" pipes with flanges to the pipes. the cutout pipes are welded on the opposite side of the o2 sensors. and the best part, you can even drive around with open headers and throw no codes. I have not had one check engine light yet. If anything go before the cats or don't do it at all because it will sound horrible after the cats.

The trucks been sitting for 5 months, so i'm prob not gonna race. I think i'll get some good videos.......like burnouts and donuts (if there is a field nearby)

It's in the rebuilding stage. same set-up but a small tank of propane mounted to the side with a regulated spray valve directly into the chamber. Little bigger bang and faster reload. But I am bringing my remote control car. It's electric with a top speed of 62mph fully charged. We can have some fun with that!....just no crashing
