I did my drivers side with the ones from the seat shop.  Was actually pretty easy.  Looks great.  Probably going to do both front seats, bottoms, backs, and arm rest.  I have pics linked to my profile.

Thanks for posting. The seat look great. Very nice truck.

  2. Hello,

I need to revive this old thread for some updated info.

My drivers seat is starting to get real crappy looking due to split in the middle of the bottom.

Does anyone have any pictures or cost to have them installed?

    What about the electrics involved?

My Bro in law had his drivers seat in his Suburban done and the dude didn't know jack about removing and replacing the seat.

It is a full electric like ours. Never worked right since.

Nice job on the leather though.

Do the shops give you a hard time because you bring your own material?

The rest of my interior is good.

  3. Thanks...hey I try to pick good ones and then replicate previous successes. :D

Before we had a pair of SS's, we had a pair of SRT8's. Mama didn't like the Magnum (as seen parked in the driveway just ahead of her SS) so we let it go. I still have my 300 though!

Sounds like a good plan to me.

I'll have to admit I liked the looks of that Magnum when it came out. I liked that chopped and lowered look. Badazz.

Friend of mine had one of the earlier 300's . Pretty cool ride.

Maybe time to throw that Camaro or Vette in in the mix.

I would probably help you get out of that Intimidator. Ha

  4. What size and brand/model of 22" tire is on it though, and what pressure you running them at? Shocks in good shape?

I just ask because I've got 22's on my SS, 285/45/22 (OEM size on the new trucks I think) Nitto 421Q and running them around 40psi, truck is really comfortable and doesn't bug me at all. Then again what I have to compare it to for what I consider a "rough ride" is an F450SD work truck that rides like it has solid mount suspension with no springs at all and 90psi in the load range G tires.

I put a set of Centerline Stingray 20's on my wife's SS, running stock size 275/55/20 in a Toyo Proxes ST II, rides nice. No complaints outta her.

Dayum, 2 SS's and one even a Intimidator.

What's the matter with you? You trying to make us crazy?

Just kidding. Couple of nice ones you've got there.
