They sound "Rice"? Did you mean to say NICE or is there some other meaning I'm missing? How exactly would you describe the sound? Deep? Raspy? Fart Can (ish)??

Anybody have ANY EXPERIENCE WITH or INPUT ABOUT the new (supposedly) VOLANT cat-back exhaust systems for the NBS GM 1/2 ton pickups w/ the vortecMAX Package? I'm told they sound like the Corsa & Borla systems with similar quality & without the huge price. Is this true or false? Volant also claims good power output with NO RESONANCE & show quality from the cat pipe back to the tip(s) too. Yes/no?? Can there really be a company that produces exhaust systems of Corsa or Borla quality & performance for almost HALF THE PRICE?!?!? Sounds TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE to me...

What does "NBS" mean?

I am looking for intake & exhaust modification ideas for a BRAND NEW (New Style) 2007 GMC Sierra Crew Cab with the vortecMAX trailering package (3.73 gears). I will be getting it within a week or so & want to do the mods ASAP. Please reply with part numbers, cost, links to performance websites, etc. I prefer to stick with GM accessories but will consider others as well. I am told that BORLA makes the GM exhausts... is that true? I looked in a GM performance accessories catalog at a GMC dealer but there wasn't anything listed for the new style trucks with the vortecMAX package (yet?). There is another thread on this site in which people are claiming to use the Silverado SS exhaust listed in that GM catalog. Will that system work on my new truck or are they for the previous generation (2006 & prior) vortecMAX trucks? ANY help is greatly accepted & apprecaited!! THANKS!!!

I am picking up my NEW STYLE 2007 GMC Crew Cab VMax this weekend & want to order the CORRECT GM Exhaust for it with the PERFORMANCE muffler. Which is the RIGHT system for the new trucks? Cost? Dyno results? How long does it take to get an exhaust system? If anybody can help me out with part numbers, prices, etc. for the NEW STYLE trucks I'd REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!
