so i was on google searching, then i came across this SLR performance Chip, http://slrmotorsports.com/shop/index.php?l...etail&p=159 .... claims that u can get up to 50 mor hp, are these CHips that much effective? or is it a waste of money getting it?....since im low on $$$ at the moment and with the dam economic crisis the price is not bad it says $69.99 but i dont kno, what do you guys think?.....ohh but for sure ima get me my K&N CAI .. just need to save up for it.... ohh and happy holidays i kno im late hehehe....also any tips in gaining mor HP would b highly appreciated thanks guys

thanks dudes for ur support, and i do apologize for my TYpos and miss spelled words .. i shall get my Custome tune then i have a 5.3 wit about 145K miles on it all Stock only LEDs everywhere and HIds Fogs and LOws ohh yeea!!! hehehe...and yesterday wen i was going to pik up ma sis frm skool i was at a light and a lifted Crew cab(dodge RAM) was nxt too me it was a lady too!! shes was cute ha! so the light turns green we both punch it and since frm wat i could tell had an exhaust and an intake she took me on first but i hit second i strted passing up her up but bearly, i was like fck i got handeled by a female but hers was modded so yea i need my power adders to ma Stock SIlvy......so were can i go to get this custom Tune, and how much $$$ and how much HP will i get??..........(yes we all get smoked one day and it is a BIc to admit it that we got smoked )

lets see as far as budget wise i would want to go with the LQ9, as far as me doing the wrk on it ima leave that up to ppl that know what they are doing on engines. since i got injuried at wrk im saving up money and thats hard to do but i am. so when i have the money, in the near future (this yr) i will consider doing the swap, if everything goes according to plan. thank you gus for your tips/support as far as HP wise im not wanting that much somewhere in like 450 im good

i did that i bend a pice of wire and put it in between where u indicated but the lights still turn on =\...would it be that i cut thru the sonsors wires and i reconnected them...do u think that by doing that it is not wrking properly?..dam i need someone to do it for me someone that lives like close to my area, and wen they do it ima feel all stupid cause it was something simple that i was missing =\ who lives close to me so they can offer me assistance??? plz!! =]

wen u say wire between the two connection points, what kind of wire? and ima jus get the wire and put that in sensor and connect and other end of the wire to the plug??? is that wat you mean>??

so a jumper is a wire thqt bypases sensors? hmm i didnt kno that... so i put my sensor bak on and it seems to wrk yay, but to get my drls tp stay on all the time is gpong to be a pain in the ass for me........ how big of a wire do i need to use to overrite the sensor?? and when i put the wire in, im not going to need that little dome thing anymor right??

i did wat CCGOODWRENCH did wit the sensor and they still turned on =[ darn it, wen i was taking mines out i cut the two wires leading to the sensor so i had to re wire them bak together, will it wrk or not anymore? =\
