  1. just wanted to update. both front wheel bearings and hub assemblies were replaced. all covered under gmpp.
  2. thanks for the quick response. it wasnt doing it this morning. a guy i work with used to be a mechanic and he got under and yanked on the torsion bar. he said it seemed pretty tight. he's going to try and bring in a jack and take a look at if for me tomorrow. hopefully its something simple.
  3. today my ss has developed a clunking noise i'm hoping someone on here might have some insight as to what's going on. whenever i turn the wheel to the left and then back to center, i hear/feel a clunk sound coming from under the driver's side area. its not there while turning left, only when i bring the wheel back to center. turning to the right and back to center doesn't do it. only to the left. i've noticed it, as well, while driving straight over bumpy roads. a starting point as to where to look would be a great help. thanks...
  4. i was thinking of grabbing these and putting snow tires on them. i just wanted to make sure there won't be any fitment issues. - thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-OEM-whee...A1%7C240%3A1318
  5. some of your posts cracked me up. thanks guys... i needed that. i'm sure my insurance will cover it. i'm waiting for the police to get back to me so i can file a report. either way, i'm calling my insurance company tonight.
  6. walked into my garage to leave for work this morning and saw that someone keyed the entire passenger side of my truck. i am beyond livid. had to have happened when i went to the grocery store yesterday. i didn't think much of it at the time. but... when i was walking back to my truck, i noticed some kid (17ish) sitting in his car kind of watching me. as i was putting my groceries in the truck, i saw that he was just staring over at us. i asked my friend if she maybe knew him but she had no idea who he was. figured he was probably checking her out or whatever... didn't really think too deeply about it. as i drove away he was still sitting there, watching me leave. now i don't know for sure it was him. but... it just seems odd that he would be sitting in his car just staring at us. i called the grocery store earlier to see if they have parking lot cameras. the manager said no as they're in the middle of remolding. i told her where i parked and what i saw and she said that area is where employees park. so after work, i'm gonna take a drive over and see if the car is there again. if so... i'm gonna take down the plate number and give it to the police whenever they feel like calling me back to file a report. i hate scumbags who destroy other people's property. nothing short of low class. now for the pics...
  7. is this still available? i am interested.
  8. alittle off topic, but... have you ever tried retro-fitting hid projectors into silverado headlights?
  9. that looks great. i would like to do that to my silver birch. give it a clean subtle look.
  10. do you take paypal? shipping to 03106?
  11. can you post some pics of it? if its in good shape and its not spoken for, i'll take it.
  12. slow day at work so i did some searching on the forums. maybe my PAC isn't defective. where i have the PAC connected to the bose amp isn't between the headunit and amp but after the bose amp. which explains why the low frequency performance sucks. saturday, i will try connecting the PAC directly to the cd player. hopefully that will straighten everything out. anyone know of an easy path to run the RCAs up to the headunit? doesn't look like it will be a simple task.
  13. well... it looks like the PAC is defective. i adjusted the gains and the output definetly increased. still lacking on the lower frequencies, though. right now, i have the RCAs running from the rear left/right off the PAC. i tried running the RCAs off the front left/right but a loud constant buzzing sound was coming through the subs. i hooked the RCAs up to the rear channels and noticed that there is only a signal coming from the red RCA off the PAC. i can connect and disconnect the white RCA and the output from the subs doesn't change. i tried connected only the white RCA and there is no sound coming from the subs at all. now i'm no audio genious. but... i would think there should be a signal coming from both the red and the white RCA. i tried connected the red rear and white front off the PAC and the sound level decreased. i sent an e-mail to the ebay seller to request a replacement. hopefully that'll fix the issue.
