  1. Bummer, I was hoping there would be a handheld that could hold a custom tune out soon. Any thoughts on when something like that would be available?
  2. Gonna do that tomorrow and prolly remove the Z71 decals, the silverado decal, and maybe the LTZ emblem although that emblem get's a little bit of respect at work for balla status.
  3. Thanks again, wasn't sure what kind of reception I'd get from being a ricer and all So anybody a good P-Chop expert? I'm wondering what the V-Max would look like slammed w/ the headlights smoked but just the headlight surrounds not the lamps themselves. The subaru guys usually bake the headlight at 215F, crack them open and paint the housings black, and also removing the orange reflectors before putting the headlights back together. I'm really wanting to do that, then do the tailights in smoke and some black wheels as well. Not sure about the chrome grill though, as first instinct is to black it out as well along with a paint matched roll pan for the rear bumper but not sure yet.
  4. Thanks man! BTW that is a great avatar!!
  5. Thanks all! Now just got to figure this forum out and my settings.
  6. It was a great grocery getter until it only got 11mpg and the rear strut tower bar and baby seat made it to where you couldn't fold the seats down or put anything back there, my own doing of course.
  7. Thanks you guys! All my suby buddies can't believe I got rid of her for a truck and I'm still losing sleep over it, but when I drive that truck it feels like a good descision and the aftermarket support for these things seems pretty reasonable. Plus, with a house and landscaping project at home, the forester became really impractical.
  8. Hey all, I'm a newb that was a lurker for a little while and signed up shortly after my NBS purchase. Just reading up and trying to think of what direction to go w/ this truck. I've just given up an 04' Forester XT that had a built motor/upgraded tranny/ etc and miss it to death but I'm hoping this V-Max can become a cool project as well, time and money permitting of course. Here are pics of the V-Max and my old trusty forester: My forester
  9. Nice! I just came out of a subaru forester XT that was pretty well modded. it put down 307.8 at all 4wheels on 91 w/ a dynodymamics dyno. Can't believe that I got rid of the thing but this truck is a nice step up and a new canvass for mods.
  10. I'm coming from the 4cyl turbo world as well. Nice start on the 240 man!
  11. Awesome, thanks for posting that info. I've been debating on removing that thing.
