  2. What is a good recommendation for LED DRL's and turn signals. I bought a cheap set a year ago off ebay and they didnt last more than a few days. I am gonna go ahead with these and I'll let ya guys know how they turn out. Thanks
  3. Well, my housings are starting to look bad on the inside. The lower parking light housings chrome coating has turned a white color. I would like to go with the all clear look anyway and in a quick Ebay search I came up with these. Has anyone used them, I am sure they are not nearly as good as factory, but are they decent? Thanks alot and here is the link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/370584882444?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

  10. Ok guys ever since i have installed my pioneer 4000dvd with the adapter for the bose system, a hifonics amp and kicker subs. I have a popping noise when i change radio stations, turn the volume to zero, open the door after shutting truck off (which turns radio off) or switch from ipod to dvd or radio. What could cause this? thanks
  11. i have the same issue, off the top of my head i cant remember what i need, 1 female to 2 male or what type of splitter?
  12. I just purchased all the stuff to install the pioneer dvd in my SS and Chris gave me a great deal and helped me with a few questions I had. Thanks alot!
  13. what remote start kit do you have>?
  14. I just need the adaptor for the Pioneer dvd4000 to the factory wiring. I have a 03 silvy SS with Bose. I do NOT have Onstar or XM. Which wiring adaptor harness do I need? this is the one I found but I am not sure if it will work or not? http://cgi.ebay.com/PAC-C2R-GM24-GM-Bose-n...1QQcmdZViewItem
  15. believe i found what i need, but do our trucks have standard Bose or premium bose systems? thanks
  16. I have decided on the pioneer 4000 series. The one question I have left is what wiring harness adapter I need, I have a Bose system, but I do NOT have XM or Onstar and honestly I am not worried about the factory chimes as they annoy me anyway. Is there a harness available that is hopefully cheaper than the one for XM and Onstar? Thanks
  17. That eclipse model is really nice, but $850 is a little more than I want to spend right nowand I dont need the navigation. I am leaning towards the Pioneer 4000 at this moment. I would like to know that if the steering wheel controls will work with this model. It seems I just have to buy an adaptor?
  18. I am also interested in the same set up as you and cant find the harness or the install kit on ebay. I did find the antenna adapter and steering wheel control adaptor though.
  19. Also, I am looking for a box for two 12 inch subs for under the rear seat. Can anyone recommend a box that will work without modifying the seat? Thanks
  20. Hey guys, Ive been watching the forums for a while and can't find an exact answer using search so I figured I'd ask: I have a 03 Silverado SS with factory 6 disk and Bose system. Here is what I am trying to accomplish: A dvd head unit that fits in the stock location with little to no modifications, works with the factory bose system, works with steering wheel controls (not sure if any do without the adaptors i see for sale), Is ready for an Ipod, also it must be able to play while driving (my last one in my car, I had to hook up a wire to ground to override the safety, I don't mind doing that again). Also, I do not want to loose sound quality or output of the factory speakers. Can anyone suggest a mid priced unit that will work for me? (under $600) Eventually I will be hooking up an aftermarket amplifier to power two 12 inch subs. Thanks alot guys
  21. Hey guys, first post here. I am from Beecher Illinois and just picked up a 03 Blue SS Silverado. It is one of three SS' I own. The others are a 88 Monte Carlo SS with 35k original miles and a 85 El Camino SS. Seems like a great site. John
