well let me rephrase this I don't need the cluster the cluster is broken all they want is the white overlay the cover over top of your gauges needles for you when you're looking at it is a white background that's all I'm looking to do thank you
Can't help you out if you wont be specific. Good luck

ok its going in a 03 Silverado an the one that I have I'm not sure what yr.it came out of .I don't Need the guages. all I want is the white overlay part.
You really need to know what year the other one is. It will have to be out of an 03-05 to work with yours. Then there is gas or diesel and with or without a trans temp gauge.
-
What type of vehicle? Different years would require different steps. If you just swap the gauges then the mileage wouldn't be correct since the mileage, vin and vehicle information is stored in the gauge cluster.
-
I need mine reset.... only because I'm putting a new engine, trans, rearend, hubs, everything..... so I want it to say 0mi or 000000mi lol
Unfortunately the mileage not only referenced to the wear and tear on the engine but also the rest of the drive train and the frame. Legally the mileage cannot be changed just because a new engine is installed.
I can do the steering wheel and the rest of the dash parts. Just depends on how deep your pockets are lol. It does get kinda pricey. You can send me a PM with everything you want converted and I can shoot you a price.
-
Mine do that from time to time. Sometimes all of them and other times random gauges.
I can fix them up for you if you would like.
-
Only reason im not switching is cause of hot spots... unless steves has no hot spots for leds....
I work very hard to make sure there are minimal, if any hot spots on the LED conversions that I do.
I just sent my cluster to Steve a few weeks ago. Packing instructions on the website. I actually called him from the post office on a Thursday (rural town -UPS delivery, but no UPS shipping point) with a shipping question. He told me what I needed to know and I sent them. The following Wednesday I got an email with a tracking number saying they were done and being shipped back to me. UPS delivered them Thursday. Awesome, fast service and great communication. I'd highly recommend.
Thanks for the kind words!

Should look like this with led's.
Maybe not....
Incorrect. The bezel you have pictured is an escalade bezel, but it is an 05-06. The one the OP has is an 03-04.

It's not in the programming. They are LCD screens and they are not powered by any sort of bulb.

The blue would look sweet on my truck. It would be awesome if you could change the ugly green readout on the dash, radio and heater controls over to blue too.
There is a way but unfortunately it will make those screen almost impossible to read during the day time.

It is still an issue with the gauge cluster. Even though they started working again it will only be a matter of time before they shut off. Some people will bang on them to get them to work again but eventually they wont come back on. Just be carefully not to break the clear plastic cover. Let me know if you would like me to fix them for you.
Thanks,
Steve
