  1. GLASSPACKS FTW! got 3 inchers on mine and sounds perfect, drones a little but nbd.... shakes the rear window under load though lol

     

    Man back in my poorer days being in the Army having my 03, I put glasspacks on it and they sounded perfect and didnt drone, got my 06 and got an expensive "better" muffler and it didnt even compare. Though I dare say they flowed better, they didnt sound near as good or throaty.

  2. Started out on the trail blazer ss and with the new body style trucks in 07 became standard. What ive seen the LSXRT only make 20hp over the GMT900 intake and you can get a cmoplete GMT900 intake for around $300 or less.

     

    Its it a direct bolt on or would I need an drx link still?

  3. Finally got everything ordered! Its all at the house waiting for me to get home on the 3rd except for the tranny which im sending off on the 9th to get built and the LSXRT or Heads which im still undecided on!

  4. swap to a GMT900 intake and then buy the heads

     

    I dont know anything about the gmt900, what kind of gains would I see from that? Also this isnt an either or type thing im going to get both down the road probaly just a couple of months apart.

  5. 2WD 4L65E COMPLETE WITH EVERYTHING TO MAKE IT A PLUG AND PLAY, INCLUDES CONVERTER AND ALL!

    Wont be happening for about a month but i will be doing the 80E swap in my SS and then my 65E will be up. Im looking for 750shipped OBO or a possible trade for something, could be lower value and you make up the cash difference or higher value and Ill do the same. Let me know! Its in Ft Worth/Keller by Alliance Airport/Cabela's. It has 65,XXX miles on it. Very interested in a set of gray stockers!

  6. i run mine right down stream from my O2 sensor for my wideband about a 8 or so inch's. not sure if it will hurt anything but i'd do it after the o2's if possible.

     

    in this pic you can see where the is a plug for my o2. i was waiting for a need sensor. but thats where mine is.

    here you can see my sensor in. my tip wasn't on the cutout yet. i would put a downward facing tip on your cutout for sure cause you will hear the exhaust hitting off stuff. mine is a single cause its a down pipe off my turbo.

  7. I bought this truck 3 months ago thinking i got a good deal. 8,250 for a 03 SS thats rust free 110,000 miles. Well what i got was a truck that needed a lot of work. 2,000 later i think i am almost in the clear. I dont know if its had the 50k service or not I am Assuming no. So after work i am going to take a picture and see what you guys think of the trans fluid.

     

    The truck retails for 14,000 w/ 120,000 miles so your still coming out ahead. pepsicheer.gif
