  1. I think the reason one of the SEC teams isn't in the National Chapionship game every year is because they all have to play each other during the year ... therefore each team ends up with a couple of losses.

But you are right I'd rather see a SEC team in the running than some team from the big 10, wac, or pac. SEC is true smash mouth football.

  2. I'm interested in this also. I have a terrible wind noise from the passenger side vent window. I got to looking at it the other day and noticed that the rubber seal under the metal frame is sticking out just a bit on the rear edge. I'd like to know what I would be getting into trying to get the rubber seal back where it goes.

  3. I get it sometimes too. I thought it was something with the A/C. I found that I can make it stop by adjusting the temp a little warmer. Haven't really looked into it 'cos its not always ticking. I hate troubleshooting an intermittent problem!

  4. stats show there's only been one team to come back from an 0-2 deficit in the conference finals or the finals and take the series and that was this year's spurs against the hornets

You better check that stat book. Not to bust your chops but just speaking of the finals its happened three times.

2006 Miami Heat over the Dallas Mavericks Mavs won the first two. Heat takes series in 7 games

1977 Portland Trailblazers over the Philadelphia 76ers 76ers won the first two. Portland won series in 6 games.

1969 Boston Celtics over LA Lakers Lakers won first two. Celtics won series in 6 games.

The 2006 Heat victory was the first time a team has been down 2-0 and won the series since adopting the 2-3-2 format in 1985.

NO team has won the finals after being down 3-0.

Don't complain. It just means you're getting ~17 MPG where you were getting ~13-14. Maybe your driving habits have changed, you did a tune up, or you got a tune for your truck. Either way thats GOOD mileage from what I've seen in these trucks.

On a side note I saw on CNN that the Liberman Clean Energy bill died yesterday. All the CNN analysists agreed that this was a bad piece of legislature. They said it took 10 hours to read on the Senate floor, and it was full of loopholes and exemptions.

  6. anything you can do there, you can do right at home.

Not legally. :D When I was there in '87 I was amazed at the number of places that you could legally buy canibus. Not that that's my cup of tea, but it was everywhere. You could walk down the street and smell people smoking it. I stopped at this little cafe along the river to have lunch, and they brought me two menus, one with food, the other with various types of marijuana, quite shocking. I was 20 and in the Army and had no idea that it was legal. Needless to say I didn't partake.

  7. Yea the ABSORBER its great. I've been using one for about ten years. That's no chit. It will out live any chamois and well worth the money. When it gets a little dirty just throw it in the wash (no soap) dont dry it though. I always put mine back in the tube it came in while still wet.

  8. A kill switch is a good idea. I wouldn't waste the money on a Club. A theif will just use a hacksaw and cut right through the steering wheel, the Club will be off in under a minute. I would go with something that has a perimeter sensor and a glass break / jacking sensor. That's not car jacking but rather if someone attempts to jack your car up as in to tow it, it will trip the alarm. A remote battery backup for the alarm is also a good idea.

I started driving when I was 16 which was way back in 1980 and a gallon of gas cost about .65. Up until about 7 years ago the most I think I was paying was about 1.70. Even at that I never thought gas would get this high. It is absolute BS that the price of gas has gone up that much in such a short time.

I hear ya brother. I started driving in 1983 at 16 and gas was .75 a gallon. So .10 in three years isn't that bad. Back in Sept-Oct of 2005 we were paying $4-$5 a gallon, but then there weren't many stations left here on the coast, and the ones that were left didn't have power to run their pumps. The few that had power soon ran dry cos everyone needed gas for their generators, chainsaws, ect. Man you couldn't even find an empty gas can. Of course natural disasters have a way of making things like that happen.
