So my sis and I took her 03 ss tonight looking to burn some 4 dollar fuel, came up on a cowgirl in a big 3/4 ton cummins with the stacks out of the bed and what looked to be an edge unit in the pillar, punked her at 2 lights so we sent her back to the farm, then we were on the way to the tattoo shop and pulled up at a light next to a new titan, had wheels and exhaust SS is pretty much stock on 22's w flows and CAI we handed his assets to him by 3/4 of a truck to about 80 then let off, not bad for a wednesday night

This doesn't add up to me why would a trans go bad after you change the fluid and flush it I have my trans flushedo nce a year I think it is worth it since it cost almost twice as much to fill the tank I don't skimp on mainteance, but why would it be bad?
I think it has something to do with the transmission gods getting pissed, I've seen tranny failure worse in Ford transmissions than GM, on a ford if u try to flush it with over 30 get ready to replace it. GM has been more forgiving IMO but this last truck of mine has had me on pins and needles waiting for it to die.

I say leave it alone, I have the same truck as you flushed it at 48k started slipping a little, again at 88k and then it slipped alot, had to put in a bottle of trans-x and it's run ok but now at 113K it's toast, I don't dare pull a trailer or run it too hard cuz she's about to go south, just my 2 cents

Dude it's hard to make it work anyhow, I dated one of my friends I knew since Jr high for 6 months recently and after knowing her 15 years it still went south. She wanted to get hitched after dating just that short a time and since I bought everything for valentines EXCEPT the ring she decided to step out, sucks to lose a girlfriend but also a friend of 15 years over a disagreement. She justified saying we knew each other enough why wait LOL She got what she wanted though we aren't even 2 months down the road and she's already set a wedding date for oct 11 OF THIS YEAR oh well just my 2 cents

For some reason, my wife's "stuff" has a tendency to disappear as well,...typically on a weekend. She still asks me if I know where various items have gone: The Turkey Baster, the last box of those green scrunge pads, Dawn dish washing liquid, baby bottle brush (don't ask) and eyebrow tweezers are usually on the most wanted pages.
Those Mr.Clean magic erasers are awesome btw all joking aside they have bailed me out of more crap,tar,sap I actually used one intead of buffing last time I scrapped my truck up against a telephone pole, don't ask

So my little sis got her first SS Yesterday 03 BLACK and we already spent all day today modding. We threw a set of 22" Boss 315's on it and a new HU in it today and really want to murder it out like a bunch of guys on here have done, but when we went looking for headlight covers today everyone acted like we were trying to buy a kilo of coke or something. One accessory store told us they were illegal to sell in Texas? and also illegal to have? I was baffled but I'm wondering anyone else in TX have any problems like this, also on the headlight covers do u guys remove em or can I tint them like I've seen the tails done on here? Basically are ya'll driving around tinted up or is it just a show thing and how much hell are u catching and if u have been cited what is the fine?

I like the 2nd one the first looks like you wanted a harley and momma didn't want to compromise, BUT if you already in that price range may as well look at a Harley v-rod if you want the modern look IMO I had a friend that had the 1st one and it was a great bike, just not for me.

Hey guys, Im about ready to put my rims on the SS and was thinking about maybe putting my SS rims on my 1998 S10. Would they fit? I may even try to do a little SS/S10 clone.....kinda dumb but may be fun.
as far as I know those are 5 lug (s10) and sss is gonna be 6, so prob not unless you know something I don't

Thanks for everyone's advice and input, this has turned out to be one of the best days of my life, and it's been confirmed by the SS Gods. Within the last hour I grew a pair and told her how I felt and I GOT A BRAND NEW GIRLFRIEND! To seal the deal as I was talking to her my baby sister drove up in her NEW BLACK 03 SS straight from the dealer to the house, talk about a sign from above!

I was married once and it was a crappy deal so I figured it would be the same regardless of who it was, but this is different. I get a big dumb grin when she calls for no apparent reason. I guess this time its better because it wasn't a bar hookup that evolved into something else so.. I'm gonna ask her out and see. thanks all

OK wanted to make sure this was a serious question and not a joke. Serious answer = IMO a real man can take care of himself, so whether she can cook or not is definitely a non-priority to me. Are you just looking for an excuse not to approach this person?

If you like Country and you are going to be near Dallas head up I-75 to Love and war in Texas in Plano, it has a great atmosphere awesome food and usually has some good live bands on a nice patio. It's my favorite place there, the stockyards are too damn far for a night out then back to Dallas. Deep Ellum might just get you killed and your ride jacked, too rough for me LOL

Silver Birch/Pewter w/SSS.com sticker on Milwaukee and 66th, I was headed to church but that's a clean truck. Saw it at Ruby Tequila's a couple weeks ago too. We need a gtg and compare notes
