  3. on this dyno we were on, stock lq9s have been around 260 hp, lq4s around 230-240hp, 02 up 5.3s are 220hp and 99-01 5.3s 200hp
  4. kerpal please explain to me how the dyno can be inaccurate? i did all the tuning and operated the dyno..he had a thread several pages long about do some reading
  5. im leaning towards low bottle pressure or too much fuel..
  6. Do a vic jr and 1000 cfm 4 barrel throttle plate instead of elbow and 90..do some readin on ls1tech about elbows..

  9. that has alot do with why motors gain hp is just by havin a cam that will spin higher and not fall off at 5600
  10. considering the cam is in the truck thats a little hard to do
  11. went from 333 with an ls1 intake to 351 on a mustang dyno..peaked at 6400 rpm...take it for whats its worth

  15. i had a 3200 stall with this cam and 4.10 gears..this was my daily driver and i towed my race car to the track with this..12,000lbs all together..i had a 40,000gvw cooler too..while he was down here i was tryin to talk him into some ls6 heads, have them ported and milled, he was eyeballin my intake more than the though of heads..trynt..just give me your money and ill spend it wisely..haha riviera..ms4 specs are 239/242 .649/.608 on a 111.5 lsa i believe..thats what im going with..along with some ported and milled 243 heads and ls1 vic jr intake and 4150 nitrous plate, 4barrel throttle plate

  19. hey man nothing that i can explain..its on the same dyno..i worked at this dyno shop for 4-5 years..i quit this past summer but still go up there to tune cars..dunno what to tell ya it did what it did..shocked the hell outa me too and kinda pissed me off considering this cam made 351 in my lq4 with ported 241 heads and pro-prod 85 mm intake and tb..i had a 3200 stall though..his is still on the stock converter..ive been told higher stalls lose hp..acually weve had a 10 second trans am that made 320 to the wheels but had a 4800 stall..explain that
  20. btw its just a damn dyno number..ive never cared for numbers and never have and never will..a dyno is a just a tool, not to see numbers ..he could go out and run a 13 or he could run a 15..numbers dont mean much to me..trynt posted what he made before and after and im backing him up..
  21. i tuned a 5.3 a few weeks ago dozerdan off pt.net..227 bone stock, headers dual 2.5 with moroso mufflers cai and mti 221/221 cam made 351...call what you want..considering trynts stock timing on his ss was i think around 9-11 degress thats why it made 260
