Welcome from a North Central Washington SSS'er!

If you're looking for a holster to attach to the interior of your SS, I can't help you. I only carry on-body and carry my Shield 40 in a Bianchi/Safariland Model 135 IWB holster. I have one for my Shield and one for my 40c. Very comfortable holster.

He may have swapped them out on purpose, but I'd check closely for collision damage, it has newer model grille, hood and is missing at least one brake duct vent grille.
Dang, last Sunday I was about 10 min away from where the ad says it is, had I known about it I would have gone and looked at it.

Welcome to the clan from a fellow Eastern Washingtonian!

Welcome back to the SSS clan!

Welcome!

Do you know the measurements of where the emblems are meant to be placed? I feel like swapping mine out to the black ones too

Congratulations Dan!!

I think I'm going back to a 275/55-20.

Guys, I've a problem that I have just been living with since I don't/didn't drive the SS very often.
The problem is it darts all over the road and is especially bad on worn/rutted roads, I dread driving it anymore so I have to do something about it.
I'm running a a 305/50-20 tire on a 8.5” wheel that I think has a 19mm offset. According to the tire spec's, 8.5” is the minimum wheel width for the tire. The factory SS wheel is 8.5” with a 22mm offset.
Since it didn't do it with my 275 width tires on it, do you think I need a wider wheel, such as a 9.5”?
Also, do you think a 20X9.5 with a 35mm offset would work?

Holycrap Clay! I would think S.O.P. would be to pull up to the ramps and get out and check for clearance first regardless of whether you told them or not, any moron with 1/2 a brain can see it is lowered!
Good luck with your claim!

Nice looking P-troller Shuan. I see my old dept driving them too, along with Tahoe's and the Ford AWD sedan. The AWD will be nice for you in the winter!

I'm trying to sell my stock silverado SS wheels and would like to buy some crappy ones for the winter cz I'm getting 22's for the summer what other wheel /tire sizes can i go with thank you
Are they the OEM Chrome wheels? Conditiion..any pitting, curbing, flaking etc? Do they come with tires, if so what brand and how much tread is left on them? What part of Washington do you live? And finally...how much are you asking for them?
-
are the oem ones aluminum by chance? if so, polish them bad boys. that's what I was planning on doing but didn't want to jack em up if they weren't...
They are plastic.

As a matter of fact I just bought 4 pair (wanted a spare set) of the chromed ones. I bought mine through Truck Emblem Warehouse on ebay.
They look to be exactly like the OEM emblems, beveled edges and thickness, only in chrome.
They are cut into a Styrofoam template so all you have to do to install them is pull the cover sheet off of the 3m tape and stick them on your SS. I have all the measurements needed for their placement so It looks like a pretty easy installation. I'm anxious to put them on but I need to give Miss March 2009 some much needed TLC before I install them.
I can remember back 8-10 years ago there was a guy auctioning the chromed ones on ebay and he was getting around $300 for them! He'd put a couple sets up and the bidding would go crazy and he'd sell them then wouldn't put anymore up for several months then put more up...really keeping it a sellers market by making everyone think they were really hard to come by!
For years I've been running some thin polished stainless steel ones an old SSS.com member sent me that don't look too bad, but they aren't as thick nor have the bevel to them. The lack of bevel and thickness has always bugged me.

Welcome from Sunny Eastern (East Wenatchee) Washington!
87 year old lady....that's funny! I've heard the "Only driven to church by a little old lady" stories before...never actually heard a true one!

Saw a Black SS sitting outside of Meza's Transmission Center in Yakima on Friday 4/10/2015....belong to anyone here?

Sorry Clay...winter time & the passes aren't a doable mix for me!

Rays B4U your truck is beautiful. Simple and clean.
Thanks, that is exactly the look I went for! My salesman tried to get me to put chrome mirror caps and a custom strip of chrome trim along the upper body lines!
-
Rays B4U, your truck has been my screensaver on my comp @ work for some time now. Nice ride.
Thanks for the compliment ssBLACKEDOUTss! It means a lot since some youngsters think us old farts have no style/taste nor should we still be allowed a drivers license!

The Denali's are nice pickups! I've toyed with the idea of selling my SS but then I give myself a reality check by looking at the prices of the new pickups. About the only time I drive the SS is to haul something to the dump or to haul our camping gear once a year. If I were to give it a much needed detailing I might be more inclined to drive it too.
