Hey Dave, I basically had the same problem with one of my ducts and I just made a piece of metal that basically is stronger than what the factory comes out with. That plastic stuff seems to break pretty easily and I think the main problem is that one screw. People pry get sick of spinning that screw a 1/4 turn at a time and end up breaking it off cuz the other two are easy to get off. I suggest you try to make a bracket. I am no fabricater in any means but making just a little bracket, putting a hole in it is a real easy fix.

Wondering if any of you have extra air ducts you might be interested in selling. I bought my truck in January and just put in the billet grill and noticed the previous owner did some type of rig job to get it on there. I only need the drivers side but if you don't want to split them up I will take both of them. Let me know. Thanks!

Bump... someone help.. I guarantee someone has one sitting around off a wreck or something...

I bought my truck about a month ago and on the drivers side seat where the seat controls are there is a plastic piece that is oval shaped that the controls go in. Well mine was cracked and looking to see if anyone out there as one I could buy. Let me know if anyone has one that would be great. I will post pics of what mine looks like if I am unclear. Thanks!

Still got the grills???

I went to the car wash the other day, the automatic one, and when I got home I realized that just the top part of one of my S's was missing. I went back to the car wash and could not find it and went to the manager and he told me that they filter it all out and they will probably find it then. Well they filtered everything ourt yesterday and no luck so if anyone has by chance the top part of the "S" on the passenger side or else a full S then pm me please. They are the original GM SS's so that is obviously what I am looking for. Thanks!

Had almost the same thing happen to my Avalanche about a year ago, they jumped on my hood, twisted off gas cover, wrote words on the side, EVERYTHING! I got licensed plate though just because I had honked at them earlier and they were driving crazy and obviously drunk. BUT, 5500 dollars later, a new paint job and two felony charges everything was taken care of. Sold that truck in September and bought me an SSS. I would cry if it happened again to this truck!!

Drunks are idiots almost all the time, One ran a red light in front of me and I simply honked at them. They followed me to my place and took it out on my truck. 4500 dollars in damages later with a key and their fists. I got their plates tho and for once in a lifetime cops did a good job, contacted the owner of the vehicle, which was this kids dad, and since the kid that was driving did not do anything he turned in his friends. Since it was so much damage they each got felonies. Hope they learned their lesson but it goes to show the smallest things can become big. I would definitely not drive the SSS to work and always pay attention to the small things also....
