  7. I know out there is an expensive 400 dollar repair manual, is that all there is to use out there for these trucks? Is the regular Chevy manuals the same for this truck with the exception of the AWD? I have one but doesn't say that it covers the SS. If anybody could help me out thanks.

  9. My truck camee with a heady duty tranny cooler, maybe the same one yours did, barely moves and my truck as far as I know came with the 4L85 thats what I was told anyways like I said.
  10. did you have the toy hauler loaded to that weight? The trailer I might be hauling will range between the 5000 to 6500 range with a 550 tongue weight, and stabilizer bars to equalize the weight and sway bars probably, what do you think then? I will still probably bag it, the thing that sucks is the truck has been lowered, is yours?
  11. On the 04 SS, because it is AWD Chevy has decreased the towing capabilities to as you all know 7600GCVW, (3396kg GCVW) ,now, I know the truck has the capabilities based on the drivetrain, heavy duty tranny cooler, 410 rear end, for any of you out there that have towed with these trucks, what is the most you have towed, how was the ride and is there anything that I can do or just SOL. I am trying to buy a travel trailer and have to haul it with my SS, so I want to know what maxes its capable of. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
  12. It should cause the manu date of my SS is in 03 and the part #'s are the same 32829
  13. Really, you don't they improve it at all? What about upgrading the wires to 8.5mm? I thought that MSD was pretty good, but if you say our stocks are pretty good I'll take your word for it. Reds cool, but I think they would look better blue, lol.
  14. Has anyone put these into ther trucks? If so which ones did you use, I've seen all the part numbers from 8245-8247 and the closest ones that match are 8247, but not quite, is there something extra that needs to be done? Any help would be appreciated. They just don't look like they will fit into the factory spot by the way they are shaped.......so.....
