      I was going to put on the Kumho Ectsa, but they had the Nitto 420s so I got those. Nice looking tire and great tread life number.

      Good choice, I've had the Kumhos before, they didn't last long and were noisy. I think i'm going to put Cooper Zeon's on the truck next time, I really like the tread pattern on them.

    So after driving home from Phoenix yesterday I have bugs plastered on the front of the truck and the landscapers blew dust all over her and now its 50 mph winds and sprinkling its going to look even worse tomorrow.

They look like those pictured cars from "abandoned cars of Dubai " the funny thing is I hadn't cleaned them and months..and the day I decide to it rains and we get a dust storm..gotta love az and their haboobs

    3 great interviews in the last week. I know I have one of them. The other 2 I will hear from on Fri. It's been a year since I've had a job. and the first time in 20yrs I've been unemployed. I gope I get the one I want.

    Finally got the Super Cup windshield mount for my Escort radar ordered. Stock suction cups wont work in this heat.

    Black SS siteing on I10 In Tucson today. Had a Black SS come up on me today and try to race me. I couldn'r because my cooling fan relays blew, so I was limping it home on the freeway. It was about 05 with the paint peeling off the hood and roof totally stock. Wanted to run him but I was handicapped LOL. Never seen him on here, so hopefully he read the silveradoss.com stickers on the rear windows.

    What a crappy day. Took off to get registered for school. Noticed the AC was blowing hot as hell, and of course it's 112 out. Trying to figure out whats going on and the radar dector went off saying LASER. Snapped a AC belt and got pulled over in the first 10 minutes of driving today.

      LOL Thats why it's so awesome that my 10yr old son wants to learn how to work on and race cars like his Dad. Mafe hime get under the truck and hold the tension so I could put on the belt from the top LOL. He pulled me over for 48 in a 40, I was on a hill going down.

    Drove around in my newly dropped SS with my kids gwtting a PS3 CC for my son at WalMart and going to PetSmart to get a excercise ball for my fat ass gerbil(yeah shes fat BC of me and all the shit I give her). I got in to a race with a D Stratus and blew her away. Very good fathers day. LOL

    I saw my first VMAX today (or VHO)... tried to race him but traffic was to heavy. Gotta say it was a very great looking truck. about a 06 or 07.

    ON my 6th day of quitting smoking after 21 years.Yup started when I was 20 and I quit last Sat on my birthday. Feel a ton better and the new retrofit cabin filter is making the truck smell even better.

      OH!! I started at 24 and been smoking 6 years. Me and the wifey quit for 6 months then started back up. Ive been told like above that the craving never ever goes away. You still get them here and there, but it does get easier to deal with...

    So finally I'm going to have my truck lowered a 3/4 drop. Dropping it off Thur and picking it up Fri at 5pm. I'll post pics on sat. It's the kit that NORCALSS sells a DJM kit. And hopefully do a HOW TO for the cabin filters on Sun. Have a great week everyone.

      BLOWN where in cali do you live. If you get it done at a local HOSEPOWER it will be cheaper to get the brake lines done. I know because I sold my hose business to them. Lol I'm a expert hose builder/salesman for the last 16 years. LOL

    Well I guess the guy that was doing to do my 3/4 lowering kit from DJM flaked on me. So I guess I'll do it myself and do the Cabin filter retrofit How To at the same time.

    Retrofitted my 03 SS with after market cabin filters. Never took pics. Anybody want to retrofit your Silverado SS 03 to 05 or reg silverado that wants to do the same thing let me know. you buy the supplies which I have most of and bring a camera to take pics and I'll help you do it so we can do a how to section. PM me. Its really easy.

    Project night tonight. cut out the area that a 2003 SS should have a cabin filter. It worked great, took me maybe about and hour, and the truck xmells 10X better. So glad I did it.

      2003 to I think 2006 doesnt. I will work on a How To this weekend. It wanst hard at all if you have a dremel. Everyone let me know if you want to know how to do it, and I will post it this weekend. Truck smells great now.
